“THE FATHERS EYES!”

Me-Maw Thoughts

September 11, 2018///

Among other things my sweet friends and family gave me for my seventy-fourth birthday last week, was a book written by Franklin Graham about seeing through his father Billy Graham’s eyes. I have not started reading the book yet, but the title prompted todays thoughts. The title of the book is “Through My Father’s Eye’s”.

Let’s think of the most devoted Father that you know. The love this father has for his children is nothing in comparison to the Love our Heavenly Father has for each of us. Regardless of the type of father (or not present) father you had growing up or have now, you are Loved with incredible Love by Father God!!

Have you ever watch a father’s face as he looks at a just born baby? The baby may be red and covered with stuff from the birth process. This child may even have a temporary misshapen head but through the new father’s eyes the baby is beautiful and perfect.

When we are born again by receiving Jesus Christ as our Savior, we may look much like a newborn. We may need cleaning up, time to shape up, and be taken care of but in our Father God’s eyes we are beautiful. He sees beyond all of that and Love’s us because we are His Child.

As a child grows the true earthly father loves every stage of the child’s life and each step they take toward being a mature human.

Just like that God not only Loves us no matter what stage of life we are in but sees amazing things in us.

Our Heavenly Fathers sees:

Beauty instead of bumps.
Clean instead of dirty.
Success instead of failure.
Smooth instead of pimply.
What we are created to be not what we are now.

What kind of earthly father would let a new baby and an older child on up into forever, just flounder all on their own with no one to help? One that had no love for that child.

Our Heavenly Father Loves us just as we are but Loves us too much to leave us that way. So, He keeps cleaning, and hugging, and meeting our needs in every way. He keeps drawing us to Himself and our Divine Destiny.

The enemy of all that is good, the devil, works in every way to distort our destiny and to pull us from the Father’s plans. The enemy of your soul is afraid, yes afraid, of you understanding who you are by seeing yourself through your Fathers Eyes.

Deception is his tool to keep you seeing the ugly and not who you were created to be. We must change our view and begin to see ourselves though our Father God’s eyes. Lies, discouragement and confusion: these are all tools to keep you from understanding how you look through the Father’s Eye’s.

Luke 22:31-32a (KJV)
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not:

Jeremiah 31:3 (KJV)
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Zephaniah 3:17 (KJV)                                                                                                                                                                  The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

How do you see yourself? How do you see others? May we choose to see through the eyes of the Creator of all that is, our Father God!!

I encourage you today to begin to listen to you innermost being and see yourself as God see’s you! In prayer command the blinders come down from your spiritual eyes and the stoppers from your spiritual ears so that you will hear what your Father is saying and see yourself and others as the Father sees!!!

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I command the spiritual blinders from the eyes of each person reading this, I command the stoppers from the spiritual ears of each person reading this. I decree and declare that each of us are seeing with spiritual eyes and hearing with spiritual ears what you are doing, saying and seeing in our lives. Help each of us to see through your eyes. Amen

Be all you can be in Jesus!!
