‘WHEN TIME IS TIED UP, NIT A SINGLE THREAD WIL BE LEFT HANGING!”

John 14:27 (KJV)

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Psalm 29:11 (KJV)

The Lord will give strength unto his people; The Lord will bless his people with peace.

Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Isaiah 64:8 (KJV)

But now, O Lord, thou art our father; We are the clay, and thou our potter; And we all are the work of thy hand.

Romans 12:10 (KJV)

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

John 3:16–17 (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Psalm 9:2 (KJV)

I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

Psalm 98:4 (KJV)

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: Make a loud noise, and rejoice and sing praise.

Matthew 11:28–30 (KJV) 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Psalm 37:3–6 (KJV)

Trust in the Lord, and do good; So shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Delight thyself also in the Lord; And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Commit thy way unto the Lord; Trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, And thy judgment as the noonday.

WHEN WE HUMBLE OURSELVES AND EMPTY OUT OUR PRIDE, OUR DOUBTS, OUR FEARS, GOD WILL FILL US WITH FAVOR AND STRENGTH!

BE BLESSED IN EVERYWAY!

If we praise, we do not have to fight!

What a thought! Praise brings Victory!

Jehoshaphat as King had the people pray and then He obeyed the directions from the Lord God Almighty!

2 Chronicles 20:21–22 (KJV)

21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

This scripture makes me laugh with Joy, and a renewed knowledge that Praise Brings Victory!

If we truly want the Lord to fight our battles, we must dedicate ourselves not only to the Word and Prayer request but Prayer PRAISE!

Psalm 18:3 (KJV) I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: So shall I be saved from mine enemies.

What are the inner, outer, anywhere in life enemies you are fighting? Defeat them with Praise to God for who He is!

Is anything to hard for God? We would all say no but our actions show we do not really believe that.  As we begin to Praise our faith grows and God acts on our behalf, for our good and His Glory!

Psalm 27:6 (KJV) And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: Therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.

Psalm 28:7 (KJV) The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; And with my song will I praise him.

Psalm 34:1 (KJV) I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

The Bible is filled with Praise scriptures, and we know that Heaven is filled with Praise continually. So, if we want to bring Heaven to Earth, we need to walk the Praise walk.

We are to cast all our care on Him and that frees us up to render the Almighty God of Heaven and Earth Worship and Praise for who He is and who He is in us!

Psalm 30:5B (KJV) Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

How does Joy come? Through Praise in through all things. Not for all things but sometimes in spite of them!

I encourage you to mix scripture with Praise when you pray! I always close these thoughts with prayer and today I am going to show you what I mean by mixing scripture with praise.

You may be a pro at this but if you have never tried it, I pray it helps!

Since we celebrated Memorial Day yesterday, I wanted to share a story that has been around a long time. You may or may not have heard or read it before, and it may not be true, but it cements the fact that when a heart is hungry for Truth, God can use anything. Let it touch your heart as we remember those who served and gave all!

*********************************************************

During the North American Campaign, a bunch of soldier boys had been on a long hike and arrived in a little town called Kasinok. The next morning, being a Sunday, several of the boys went to church. A sergeant commanded the boys in church, and after the Chaplain had read the prayer, the text was taken up next. Those of the boys who had prayer books took them out, but this one boy had only a deck of cards, and so he spread them out. The sergeant saw the cards, and said “Soldier, put away those cards.”

After the services were over, the soldier was taken prisoner and brought before the provost marshal.

The marshal said, “Sergeant, why have you brought this man here!”

“For playing cards in church, sir.”

“And what have you to say for yourself, boy?”

“Much, sir,” replied the soldier.

The marshal replied, “I hope so, for if not, I will punish you more severely than any man has ever been punished.”

The soldier said, “Sir, I have been on march for about six days, and I have neither Bible, nor prayer book; but I hope to satisfy you, sir, with the purity of my intentions.”

And with that, the boy started his story.

“You see, sir, When I look at the ace, it reminds me that there is but one God. And the deuce, it reminds me that the Bible is divided into two parts, the Old and the New Testaments. And when I look at the trey, I think of the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

“When I see the four, I think of the four evangelists who preached the Gospel: there were Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. And when I see the five, it reminds me of the five virgins who trimmed their lamps. There were ten of them: five who trimmed their lamps, five were foolish and were shut out.

“And when I see the six, it reminds me that in six days God made this great Heaven and Earth. When I see the seven, it reminds me that on the seventh day, God rested from His great work. And when I see the eight, I think of the eight righteous persons that God saved when He destroyed this earth. There was Noah, his wife, and their sons and their wives.

“And when I see the nine, I think of the lepers our Savior cleaned, because it was nine out of ten who didn’t even thank Him. When I see the ten, I think of the Ten Commandments that God handed down to Moses on a table of stone.

“When I see the king, it reminds me that there is but one King of Heaven – God Almighty. And when I see the queen… I think of Mary, the mother of Jesus. And when I see the jack of knaves, it is the devil.

“When I count the number of spots on a deck of cards, I find 365, the number of days in a year. There are 52 cards, the number of weeks in a year. There are four suits, the number of weeks in a month. There are 12 picture cards, the number of months in a year. There are 13 tricks, the number of weeks in a quarter.

“So, you see, sir, my pack of cards serves me as a Bible, almanac and prayer book.”

With a tear, the marshal just waved the soldier away.

Father, I come in Jesus’ name with a grateful heart for those who have given their lives so that we can live in freedom. I thank you for blessing their descendants generation after generation. I praise you for the sacrifice Jesus made on the Cross that freed us from evil and gives us life abundantly! May we each understand and never forget that neither of these freedoms we enjoy were free! I Know you are probably familiar with the story in Genesis of Joseph who was the son of Jacob who was Abraham’s grandson!

We usually talk about the trouble Joseph had and his journey from home to Egypt as a slave, to prison and then to the Palace and second only to the Pharaoh!

Today, I want us to look at Joseph’s father, Jacob. Jacob had 12 son’s and was an old man who thought Joseph was dead. He was deceived to believe this.

For 20 years he believed his son Joseph was dead. Joseph was a dreamer and so for this discussion I want you to view Joseph as Jacobs dream and desire. Even though a parent should not have favorites, Joseph was Jacobs favorite.

He now found that his son: his dream, was alive and he and all his son’s and their families were on their way to dwell in Egypt because there would be 5 more years of the famine they had been experiencing.

During the 20 years Jacob believed Joseph was dead he still honored and worshipped God. On the way with all his family he stopped at Beer-Sheba and built and altar and worshipped.

God appeared to Him in the visions of the night assuring Him that He would be a great nation and would indeed see his son Joseph.

Jacob had a dream son he thought was dead for 20 years!

DO you have a dream that you believe has been dead a long time?

Let us look at what has happened during the 20 years. God was working on both sides of the dream! He was bringing the answer to the dream to maturity as Joseph went through the process of betrayal and victory!

Jacob had no hope of ever seeing Joseph again, but God was working all things out!

When we give up and believe our dreams, or desires, or visions are dead God is still working all thing for our good and His Glory.

Buying into the lies and deception that the dream is dead is what the enemy wants!

Jacob was bent beneath the load of grief and then found out his son was alive. I think he probably was wrestling with belief and unbelief. Was this real? Was he really going to see his dream Joseph stand before him?

Just as God saw Jacobs desire to believe but also experiencing doubt and assured him in the visions that Joseph was truly alive and the promises made to Abraham were still yes and amen, the dream you thought was dead, God is saying is surely alive and He has been getting it ready for you!

Maybe it is you who had to go through a process or maybe circumstances or situations or others that had to go through the process but be assured the dream is still alive and as you rise as Jacob did and walk toward it you will see it come to pass.

When Jacob saw and embraced Joseph, he was ready to die, but he lived 17 more years. We will see our dream come to pass but that does not mean God does not have more dreams and visions.

Trust God’s timing, pray and worship, and move toward the God given dreams, desires, and visions, within you!

What layers and layers of teaching are in the story of Joseph, but I pray you have begun to understand that our dreams and visions are never too old, never too big, and we are never out of reach of them. Just trust and obey and let God work all things together for our good and His Glory!

Meditate on the visions and dreams God has placed in you and allow the Holy Spirit to stir them up! Rest in the promise that He can and He will!!!

Our God is alive and so are out dreams!

___________________________________________

Father, thank you that just as our prayers never die our dreams never die. You are working on us and on all the dreams, visions, and desires that you have placed in us. May we never give in to the deception of satan that tells us they are gone. We lay our hearts before you and receive the assurance you give that with you nothing is impossible! I ask this in Jesus’ name! Amen!

Today let us think about how and what we hear! All of us know that there are times when someone is talking to us and if we were asked to repeat it, we could not because we appeared to be listening but were not absorbing it!

Other times we hear but find out later that we did not hear correctly, and there are times we do hear what the other person is saying but do not take heed nor have any intention of believing them or following their advice if it was given!

Children, ours and others, have a great way of ignoring or just not comprehending what we are telling them.

We then should have no trouble understanding what Jesus meant when He says in several places, “He that have ears, let them hear”!

Jesus talked about hearing a lot but specifically says if we have ears to hear in: Matthew 11:15, and 13:9/ Mark 4:9, 4:23, and 7:16/ Luke 8:8.

Jesus was talking to people who had physical ears and who could apparently hear the words, but He is saying let you heart hear and allow the Holy Spirit to show you deeper truths than the surface words.

He is admonishing those listening to listen with the intention of obeying and following His teaching. We all know many listened to Him and not only ignored what he said and how to have a relationship with the Father, but also some spread wrong understanding of what He was saying.

It is interesting to me the numbers of even the religious leaders of that day that did not only not hear with the intent to obey but did not even accept that Jesus was the LONG-AWAITED MESSIAH!

PSALMS 85:8 SAYS IN PART: I will hear what God the Lord will speak:

Do we hear with our hearts open to receive revelation of the thoughts and intents of teaching or do we hear with our minds that are centered on the surface of the words?

Before reading the word or hearing a teaching or sermon do we ask the Holy Spirit to open our spiritual ears to the deep truths. Do we intend to obey what we hear, or do we let the cares of life rob us of walking in the revelations we may have received but did not walk in.

Psalm 143:8 (KJV) Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;  For I lift up my soul unto thee.

Proverbs 8:33 (KJV) Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.

Many times, in the 2nd and 3rd chapters of Revelation, Jesus says if you have ears, hear! Below is one of those!

Revelation 2:29 (KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

We have ears to hear what those around us are saying or we can close our ears to their voices. We pay a lot of attention to what the culture we live in tells us to do and many times we are more prone to follow that than we are to open our ears to hear the voice or impression deep within and follow that.

God Loves us and wants to give us joy and peace that comes from listen deep in our spirits to the truths of His word and the direction He gives every moment of everyday if we are open to hearing and doing!

Oh, how we live below our privilege as a Christian because we have ears to hear but do not hear!

I ask you today to think about how you hear and how you respond and who you are listening to!

John 10:27 (KJV)My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

____________________________________________

Father, in Jesus’ name I come! Thank you for your love and truth that is for our good and your Glory! You have such amazing and wonderful truths that will guide us and keep us pure in this world we are in. May each of us examine deep inside us and clear out all the hindrances that keep us from hearing with spiritual ears! Oh, how you love us Jesus! May we understand that your way is always best. May we hear what the sprit is saying! Amen!

“WHERE DID IT ALL BEGIN?”

Me-Maw Thoughts

Number 786

May 5, 2026///

As I was going through some things at home, I came across this article and felt it was worth sharing. Think about it and ask God what you can do to effect change!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

“WHERE DID IT ALL BEGIN?

Let’s see, I think it started when Madeline Murry O’Hare complained she didn’t want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.

Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school, the Bible that says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn’t spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be wrapped and we might damage their self-esteem. And we said, an expert should know what he’s talking about, so we won’t spank them anymore.

Then someone said teachers and principals better not discipline our children when they misbehave. And the school administrators said, no faculty member in this school better touch a student when they misbehave because we don’t want any bad publicity, and we surely don’t want to be sued. And we accepted their reasoning.

Then someone said, let’s let out daughters have abortions if they want, and they won’t even have to tell their parents. And we said, that’s a grand idea.

Then some wise school board member said, since boys will be boys and they’re going to do it anyway, let’s give our sons all the condoms they want, so they can have all they fun they desire, and we won’t have to tell their parents they got them at school And we said, that’s another great idea.

And then someone said let’s print magazines with nude pictures and call it wholesome down-to-earth appreciation for the beauty of the female body. And we said we have no problem with that.

And someone else took that appreciation a step further and published pictures of nude children and then stepped further still by making them available on the internet. And we said they’re entitled to their free speech.

And the entertainment industry said, let’s make TV shows and movies that prompt profanity, violence, and illicit sex. And let’s make ones that encourage rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes. And we said it’s just entertainment, it has no adverse effect, and nobody takes it seriously anyway, so go right ahead.

Therefore, now we’re asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don’t know right from wrong, and why it doesn’t bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, it we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with….”WE REAP WHAT WE SOW!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

As you read this you may have been thinking you did not agree to all this. You may not have been born. But remember the famous saying:

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”

We cannot roll back time and change the past, but we can follow God’s direction and spread the good news that changes hearts and changed hearts, will change our world!

We may not have a platform to speak to crowds about the truth of Jesus Christ and God’s Love, but we can pray for those who do and share with those we are around as we allow Jesus to flow through us!

May we not get so wrapped up in our world of us and no more and forget that we can do something. On our knees we are a powerful force against evil and for bringing God’s Kingdom to earth! And when we love like Jesus loves it has eternal significance!

No, we cannot change the past, but we can surely affect the future! Will you join me in the prayer: “Jesus use me!”

Ephesians 2:10 (KJV) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

____________________________________

Father, in Jesus’ name I come! Forgive us when we get wrapped up in our own lives and let evil abound. Show each of us how to pray, to reach out, to speak out in our homes, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, cities, and states. Help each of us to live with eternal values! Amen!

“PAST!”

Me-Maw Thoughts

Number 785

April 28, 2026///

The thought I want to share with you this morning is when we are set free, forgiven, delivered of our past failures, or habits, or any other thing by the Lord God Almighty do we truly let it go or do we keep letting it discourage or bother us and keep us from doing our best for Jesus with power?

I have a habit of rethinking things I have said or done and deciding I could have done it better or differently!

May I point out two places in the first three chapters of Acts where Peter demonstrates true freedom from the past!

Before the crucifixion Peter had denied the Lord three times because of fear. After the resurrection Jesus had recommissioned him as a leader.

Peter could walk in that recommission or keep staying in the failure of denial!

We then find in Acts two Peter and others are filled with the Holy Spirit and Peter preached to the crowds accusing them of denying Jesus Christ as Messiah! He forgot his denial! It was forgiven!

In Acts three we find Peter and John going to the temple to pray and in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, they declared a man lame from his mother’s womb, whole!

As a crowd gathered because of this miracle, Peter once again preached reminding them that they had denied the Holy One! Once again, he forgot his denial! It was forgiven!

What about you and me? Do we walk in the victory of Gods unconditional Love and Forgiveness and restoration, and power or do we listen to the voices of our past failures?

The enemy of all that is good wants to keep us stuck in our past and not go forward and fulfill the reason we are on this earth!

The apostle Paul did all kinds of persecution of Christians until he was changed and commissioned to Preach the good news of Jesus! As he carried out his reason for living, he had the motto by which we should live!

Philippians 3:13–14 (KJV) 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Paul was forgiven, changed, and commissioned and he chose to walk in that commissioning and forget all his wrongs and failures!

What about us? Which way do we choose! Do we choose to set our minds on the reason we were created or do we choose to live in regrets and what-ifs! One of the enemies favorite weapons is a what-if mind set. We can always think about how things would be or would have been if we had made different choices!

But we can also renew our thinking by praising God for His forgiveness and Love. Cast down the thoughts of past hurts, failures, and confusions by the weapon of Praise! We are redeemed and set free to live in faith and victory!

I encourage you to join me today in forgetting all those things in the past we would like to do over! Join me in letting go of the what-if mind set and let us walk toward the goal of being like Jesus: full of Faith, Victory, Power, and Authority!

When we walk in what we are commissioned to do we are filled with Joy and the Joy of the Lord is our Strength!

We can change our world as we seek first God’s Kingdom and leave the past failures, mistakes, and wrong choices behind!

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Father, in Jesus’ name I come! I praise you that we are new creations in you and we can let go of the past that that the enemy keeps bringing up. May we allow your care and love to guide us to walk in the power of you forgiveness and set our mind on the eternal and the reason we are living! Thank you for loving us unconditionally but you love us too much to leave us that way! Mold us into a vessel to be used in your kingdom! Amen!

One time our “Women’s Fearless Conference” motto was “Better Together”!

This came to my mind yesterday as I was in a curtained off section of a Hospital Observation unit with my husband, where we had been sent from the ER on Monday night so they could do a test yesterday. FYI we are home and all is better.

As I was trying to pass the hours, I noticed at the top of the curtain there were things on the curtain that looked like wood color but were shaped like peoples hands and they were joined. Then I noticed how the curtains were connected except at the corner where you could enter and exit and at the back walls and they provided a united wall of curtain!

I began to think of the motto that I have heard expresses elsewhere in addition to the “Fearless Conference”!

“BETTER TOGETHER!”

We are created for community and when we are joined with others, we are stronger in ourselves and can do more and do it better and can show the world that togetherness and love, not competition and hate, is the more productive way!

Just as the joined curtain supplied the need of privacy, our Chrisitan unity can protect and guide each other and provide the anointing!

The Bible teaches us that unity brings power and power can demonstrate the Love of Jesus and that He came to give us life and life abundantly!

Psalm 133:1 (KJV) Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!

Each of us know from experience how much better life is when we are in agreement with those in our household or job or extended family!

That is so much more important in our Christian walk and our Churches. Because unity brings the anointing and disunity breaks the anointing.

We cannot witness to the world a loving Jesus if we are at odds with others who also call themselves Christians.

Ephesians 4:3 (KJV) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

We must do all we can to keep the unity of the spirit! Do we need to go to someone and ask forgiveness or share how they hurt or offended us and pray about it together, always approaching the other person with the love of Jesus and after much prayer? Then just do it!

Do we need to reach out and correct gossip we may have spread? Then just do it!

If we need to pray about our attitude toward another believer, DO IT!

Endeavor means: to work with set purpose.

1 Corinthians 1:10 (KJV) Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Living with eternal values and Loving God, and others will cause us to speak the same thing: The good news of Jesus Christ and His incredible Love!

Colossians 2:2 (KJV) That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

When we walk with the same goal: to fulfill the reason we were born, we can walk in unity, understanding that it is not us but Christ who lives in us that can cause love and unity to abound!

Galatians 2:20 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I encourage each of you today to examine who you are living for!

_______________________________________________________

Father, your word is truth and your word teaches us that walking in unity pleases you! We each acknowledge this is not always the way we walk and ask your forgiveness and guidance that the world may see “We are Christians by our Love!” Lord let your love be expressed through us! We ask in Jesus’ name! Amen!

“WEATHER!”

Me-Maw Thoughts

Number 783

April 14, 2026///

Bless the Lord, Oh My soul and all that is within me, I Bless His Holy Name!

What a beautiful day to serve the Lord!

The sun is shining here where I am but somewhere it is raining, or snowing, or storming!

It may be going good in our lives, but someone is going through the most difficult time of their lives. Someone has just gotten a devastating phone call or Doctor’s report, and someone has lost their job, or any of a million other hard or life-changing things!

But I declare and decree to you today that no matter what the weather is or the circumstances in our lives this is a beautiful day to serve and bless the Lord!

WHY? Because we are Children of the Creator God and His eye is always watching us, fighting for us, and giving us strength and wisdom as we just lean on Him.

To know Jesus as our Savior and be able to commune with the Creator God gives us something to be thankful for every day.

The word says to rejoice in the Lord!

Philippians 4:4 (KJV) Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

What is always? When you are sick, when you are grieved, when you are concerned about others, when you stress over bills or loved ones, rejoice!

Philippians 4:6–7 (KJV) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The word tells us to pray and let our request known and then walk in the peace of God, no matter what happens!

Peace is the midst of turmoil and problems is a witness to those around us of the reality of Jesus Christ our Savior!

Praise is part of rejoicing and praise is a weapon that will defeat the darkness that may try to pull you down into worry and depression!

Weep if you must! Take time to heal if you are sick, Pray hard for your loved ones and for every situation in your life! But never fail to give Thanks for who Jesus is and who he is in you! Thank Him for breath because every breath we take is a gift from Him!

Rejoice in the fact that we have a Savior who loves us we know and He weeps when we weep and hurts when we hurt! We have the promise of a heavenly home and joy as we walk this road called life!

We do not have to fear tomorrow because He is already there! Rejoice and with your rejoicing, begin to think of good things!

Philippians 4:8 (KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

When we begin to think of past blessings and times when the right thing happened at the right time, every day becomes a day to praise the Lord!

We will not always understand His ways or the reason we are experiencing something difficult, but we can Rejoice in the fact of who He is and that we do not have to walk this road called life alone!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY TO SERVE THE LORD!

REJOICE!

___________________________________________________

Father, thank you for being good. Even when we cannot see the sun for the storms in our lives, you are good! Your mercy is amazing and your grace is sufficient for every need, and you fill us with peace when we just rejoice in who you are! You are God, the creator of all we see and you love us, help us, and give us strength! Thank you! Thank you for your love and your joy and you peace that passes all understanding! I pray in Jesus’ name! Amen!

Rejoice! Me-Maw!

“IT IS FINISHED!”

Me-Maw Thoughts

April 7, 2026///

Resurrection Sunday was two days ago!

My Thoughts today center on the question:

If Jesus Tomb is Empty, if His last words on the cross were
“It is finished,” meaning completed, nothing left undone, why is it so hard for us to “Cast all our care on Him because He cares for us”?

I know we understand Jesus Loves us! We confess He wants to Bless us Abundantly, and then we try to carry our own load!

I think God must look at Jesus and say: “If they only knew that all they need is to just give the problems and situations to us and we can make all things beautiful in their lives”!

We are created with free will. We can choose what we wear, what we eat, and what we believe, and what we do. Therefore, when it comes to worry or trust, that free will makes us want to do it ourselves.

This reminds me of a toddler who wants to open a toy or box themself. They try and try with a loving parent saying let me do it! But the independent nature says, “I want to do it myself”!

Or the child who had a broken truck, standing and begging the dad to fix it but will not let it go. The loving father is saying, “Give it to me and I will fix it”!

Our Loving Heavenly Father is saying to us this morning, “Release it to me and I will work it out for your good and my Glory”!

So why is that so difficult? Because the enemy of all that is good, the devil, invades our minds with all the outcomes for the problems and situations we are in and what we need to do, and we get caught up in that.

May, I suggest if that is the path you are walking, stop, voice that you are releasing (and name it), to His Lordship, and say it until you feel it. Then listen to the impression deep inside that will tell you what you need to do, if anything, and then rest in Him and the Power of His might!

Do we believe we are wiser and more capable than the Creator of the Universe? The one who said, “Light Be,” and there was light? The one who knows the number of stars and calls them by name? The one who feeds the sparrow and takes care of the lilies of the field? The one who knows us better than we know ourselves and knows our name and has an amazing plan for each of us?

Let’s be real! We cannot move a Mountain or cause the sun and moon to shine and we cannot cause the heart to gain new life when we believe in the price paid on the cross!

So why in the name of all that is truth, do we think we can handle our lives better than the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY CAN!!

He wants us to rest in him, to let Him lift our load and give us Joy and Peace that cannot be bought!

And yet we continue to struggle to do it ourselves!!

May we get real with the Lord and acknowledge who He is and trust Him every day, in every way!!

Why should we worry and why should we fret, God has never left us yet! Praise the Lord! We do not have to do life alone!

I pray you grasp that truth on this day! You are not meant to walk alone! Hold to God’s unchanging hand. Let Him wrap His blanket of Love all around you!

Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV) 5Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;

And lean not unto thine own understanding.

6In all thy ways acknowledge him,

And he shall direct thy paths.

Father, thank you for the Truth that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or imagine! We release all we are and all we are not to all you are! We believe in you and trust you! In Jesus name I! Amen!

Love, MeMaw!
