Why do we get old? Or the better question is why do parts of our body have issues or wear out?

I am 82 and Ronald will be 87 next week. We are blessed that we can still get around and do some things, but our bodies are defiantly losing stamina and causing issues!

As we were sitting in the Doctors waiting room this morning there was a lady in a wheelchair, a man with a walking cane! I have seen others who could barely walk or use walkers, etc.! Thank God those helps are available, but the thought was why do we get old?

The bottom-line explanation is Adam and Eve blew it! They would live forever but fell to temptation and this life began with all of us having a beginning and end here in this life but thank God we can have eternity with Jesus.

With age in mind, may we look at the progression of ages recorded in the Bible!

Adam = 930 / His son Seth = 912 / Seth son Enos = 905!

Noad = 950/ Abraham = 175 / His son Isaac = 180 / Jacob = 147

Moses = 110 / Joshuas = 118

These are just a few of the recorded ages but just look at the drop in ages from Noah to Abraham. It is interesting to me that sometime after the flood people began to live shorter life spans on earth.

I have always heard that our bodies are created to renew themselves in every way but somewhere along the way something happened.

Could it be that the humans never fully recovered after the flood!

When I was growing up people lived much shorter lives than they are living now.

Medicine has advanced so that parts of the body can be replaced with replacement parts much like an automobile or an appliance!

Just read of a lady who turned 120. More of those I know are in their seventy, eighty, or nineties!

Paul declared in the Bible:

2 Corinthians 4:16 (KJV) For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

The inward person. The real you! Deep down inside you can be renewed in strength in spirit, mind, will and emotions! The body then will also be renewed as our mind realizes that we have a savior that is with us always.

We will not live in this body forever, but God will give us strength for the journey and wisdom for every day as we navigate the physical issues both young and old face!

Our Father in Heaven promises long, life and peace to those who love and follow Him!

Proverbs 3:2 (KJV) For length of days, and long life,

And peace, shall they add to thee.

Psalm 91:16 (KJV) With long life will I satisfy him,

And shew him my salvation.

Why do babies, youth and young adults die young? I am not God, so I do not know!

What I do know is God has a plan and while we live here on earth He still has more for us to do! We may do it with physical ailments even though we pray and claim the scriptures, but we can do all thing through Christ which gives us strength!

Thank you for reading these ramblings to the end but I declare again that;

THOUGH OUR OUTWARD MAN PERISH THE INWARD MAN IS RENEWED DAY BY DAY!!!

Father, thank you for seeing us in every situation and physical condition we are in! Your Grace and Mercy and Strength fills us and when we cannot see your hand of complete healing, we trust your nature of Love and care! You are our Father and you have a plan for us! We are all familiar with the children’s game “hide and seek”! In our world I wonder what each of us is seeking and how many of us feel like life has us hiding.

Some seek business success, some seek relationships with others, some seek fame and some seek survival each day!

I believe no matter what form the seeking takes it is a cry to be found, to be seen, to matter to someone else!

Some feel like they are hidden and no one is seeking or searching for them. In addition to the things I listed above that people are seeking; others are trying to find recognition or a reason to live in alcohol or drugs or destructive behavior that may include guns and rebellion!

May I share with you that each of these and more are people crying out to matter!

Does anyone see me? Does anyone care? Would anyone care if I just vanished? Does anyone Love Me?

Great questions! When we are looking at someone, are we looking at what they are doing or are we looking at who they could be with a little encouragement!

Bullying does not stop in our schools. It is in workplaces and yes in homes. Bullying says both the bully and the one bullied are searching to be seen as someone with worth, someone to be loved!

Love is more than a fluttery, sweet feeling inside. Love cares about the needs and desires of others and seeing others as important!

The truth is that we cannot really love until we are loved, and we cannot know we are loved until we understand that the God who created us Loves us unconditionally and desires to pour out His Love on and in us so we can Love each other!

We may have times and situations that we feel loved, but the deep in our hearts real love only comes when we understand the Love of God.

We can understand the love of God when we know His earthly expression of love in Jesus. Jesus declared He came to SEEK and save those who are lost. Jesus seeks each person who is on this earth and desires that they receive His peace and love in their hearts.

Luke 19:10 (KJV) For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

If you feel like you are hidden, this verse says Jesus is seeking you!

God so loved that He gave! Can you receive?

It is easy! We just open up and realize we need that real love to make our lives not just better but the best!

The children’s song says it all:

JESUS LOVES ME, THIS I KNOW! FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO!

Just talk to Him, like you were talking to a friend because He is the best friend you will ever have!

I encourage you to open yourself up to real Love! The one who knows you best and loves you most!

Is hide and go seek going on in your life? Let Jesus find you! It will be the best decision you will ever make!

This year we celebrated 250 years as a Nation! The past has been filled with victories and trouble but as a nation we have always persevered!

In this 250^th year may I share what some of the heroes of Faith and our country said!

GEORGE WASHINGTON: “I am sure there never was a people who had more reason to acknowledge a divine interposition in their affairs than those of the United States: and I should be pained to believe that they have forgotten that agency which was so often manifested during our Revolution – or that they failed to consider the omnipotence of that God who alone is able to protect them.”

MARY ANN BICKERDYKE: As a nurse caring for enlisted men in the Civil War, she was questioned about her authority to do what she did and she replied: “On the authority of Lord God Almighty; have you anything that outranks that?”

ABRAHAM LINCOLN: “I do not boast that God is on my side, I humbly pray that I am on God’s side.”

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.: “I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”

Other heroes include: D.L. Moody, Lottie Moon, Fanny Crosby, Jim Elliot and more recently Mother Teresa and Billy Graham! I encourage you to look up some of their contributions to the Gospel of “compassion in action” of these.

Regardless of what those who cannot see truth say this country was founded by men and women who had Faith in a God who created them and who decided: The just shall live by Faith!

They did what they could, and we need to keep the Faith and stand for right and do what we can to live the powerful truth of the gospel!

One of the most important places to show that love and compassion is in our homes! If we desire change for the good in the United States and a revival of truth in our leaders, it needs to start in our hearts and homes!

Think about how important or unimportant the truth that God Loves you and Jesus died for you is in our home each day! We serve the Lord God who wants to be part of our lives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and it starts where we live!

My desire is that as you read this you understand that everything you do needs to be done to the best of your ability and as unto the Lord!

Invite your creator God, the one who created you and knows you better than anyone else and loves you more than you can understand, into every second of your life!

Your children and everyone you see each day will be affected by it!

I want you to join me in praying for your home this prayer I have on our refrigerator! It is a simple prayer for your home!

DEAR GOD, BLESS THIS HOME WITH YOUR PEACE AND LOVE!

MAY ALL WHO ENTER HERE EXPERIENCE YOUR CALMING EMBRACE.

MAY WE BE FILLED WITH KINDNESS, PATIENCE, AND UNDERSTANDING TOWARD ONE ANOTHER, AND MAY WE ALWAYS SEEK TO BRING JOY AND HARMONY INTO OUR HOME. AMEN!

Father, thank you for loving us even when we do not acknowledge your love! Open our hearts to your presence, peace and joy and help us follow your footsteps of compassion and love each day! Fill our homes with you Holy Spirit and let revival begin deep in each of us and may we realize this nation was established on the foundational truths of the Bible! Set each of us free from the influence of evil and fill us with your light and love so that we can shine and affect the darkness around us! I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

Bear with me this morning as I share thoughts on a subject we do not like to think or talk about!

We are all aware that Each person is born, and at birth starts heading for death! Most of us do not think about that very much and live our lives without consideration of how short life can be!

Our pastor shared a statistic Sunday that has been on my mind since! It is average so it may fluctuate at various times, but it really got my attention!

He shared that 174,000 people die each day in our world! Please don’t shrug this off!

174,000 people died yesterday, will die today, and will die tomorrow! My mind cannot get past the question, “How Many of those have received Jesus Christ as their Savior?”

Those men, women, and children we pass on the sidewalks or in cars or in our churches, schools, or workplaces, are going into eternity by death at some point (unless Jesus returns first)!

These thoughts go out in several ways each Tuesday to people in all walks of life and you may not be familiar with some of the terminology I use today but be assured that this world is not the end and there is life after death!

The Bible teaches us that:

Hebrews 9:27 (KJV) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I know this is a more serious MeMaw Thoughts than normal, but the thought of how many people die without really living by accepting Jesus as Savior and that they are facing eternity without hope just will not leave me! I care about those who read this and want to see all of you receive what Jesus did for us on the cross and if you have received Jesus as your savior, I want to encourage you to share the truths of the Gospel!

The Bible tells us what the enemy of all that is good desires for us vs what Jesus came to give us!

John 10:10 (KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

If we could ever understand the Peace and Joy inside that Jesus can give, no one would hesitate to believe and receive. But it cannot be explained only experienced!

John declared that the truth of the Bible was written for a reason:

John 20:31 (KJV) But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

If you have not received as truth all that Jesus paid for you with His death and resurrection, I encourage you to open a bible and began to read the book of John in the New Testament! Before you start ask the creator God to show you truth as you read!

If you have received Jesus as Saviour, I encourage you to ask the Father what you can do to show Jesus to a world that is in desperate need of truth. Never forget that no matter how little it is, a light dispels darkness and no matter how little you think you can do, it will dispel darkness!

If you do not believe or agree with what I have written, I have prayed that you will read it to the end! Please know that it is my desire that each of you find the peace that only the Lord Jesus can give!

Rember, I love you to the moon and back and God loves you more than you can comprehend!

Father, I ask you to take what I have said and touch us in the way we need to be touched! If my words were confusing, make them clear to each person and let them hear the truth! You provided a way for us to have abundant life from the inside out and we each need to let that truth shine through all we do each day. I ask in the mighty name of our Saviour, Jesus Christ! Amen!

I am sure that like me you are already tired of all the political ads everywhere!

And whatever your political views or affiliations are one of the candidates said something that keeps coming to my mind that is so true in our walk in life and our spiritual walk!

Rick Jackosn said: “You can curse the darkness or find the light”!

Every time I think of that phrase, I realize we face that choice every day. Today, at this moment, we can moan and groan and complain and blame others or ourselves and worry and fret regarding all that is wrong in our lives or in the world we live in!

Or we can find the light in the darkness and let our light shine in a world that needs the light of Jesus Christ to transform our culture!

A few of websters dictionary definitions of light are:

–SOMETHING THAT MAKES VISION POSSIBLE

 -A PARTICULAR ILLUMINATION 

-SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.—John 1:5 (Revised Standard Version)

–INNER LIGHT

It is a choice we make as we get up in the morning, beginning our day taking care of our families or self or dealing with situations we would rather not deal with! We may face physical issues, financial issues, emotional and relationship issues that cause us to focus on those dark issues!

But if we have breath in our body, a roof over our head, food on our table, family and friends, we can see the light! If we have a job and car, we can see light, as we begin to thank God that we are blessed with these blessings!

But the most important light in our lives is our relationship with Jesus! Webster calls it “INNER LIGHT”, OR “SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION”! I call it loving God and letting His Light shine through all we do!

When we can let our minds and hearts concentrate on God’s Love and the price Jesus paid for our freedom from evil, we can shine! When we understand that we are never alone when we have received all Jesus did for us as He died and rose again victorious, we can shine the light of Joy and Peace that the world cannot give nor understand!

Websters dictionary had the scripture John 1:5 within the meanings:

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.—John 1:5 (Revised Standard Version)

Even a small light dispels the darkness and the brighter the light gets, or many small lights together dispels more and more darkness.

Jesus taught:

Matthew 5:16 (KJV) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

We think of good works as doing something special for the kingdom of God or for others but may I tell you that you also do good works and glorify the Father when you do the daily task, the hard tasks, and face the day with praise and dependance on His guidance.

You are watched by those around you and as the saying goes: “You are the only Bible some people read”!

What is your life telling them! Are we acting just as our culture expects or are we understanding that each of us are here on earth for a purpose and as we approach each day to be the best representative of God and of good we can be, our light is dispelling the darkness!

If all born again Christians will live this day letting the light of Jesus Christ shine, imagine all the darkness that would be gone!

I invite you to join me in intentionally, by the love of God flowing through us, dispel darkness, even a little at a times!

May we Love one another! This dispels a lot of darkness!

Forgive us when we respond to the circumstances and situations in our lives the way the culture of our world responds! May the light shining through us begin to change the culture around us! Today has been a busy Doctor Day! Being extremely tired I sat down to write todays thoughts and felt I should share one from long ago. I pray it encourages you as it did me as I reread it.

ME-MAW THOUGHTS/ NUMBER 34/ AUGUST 30, 2011

When I was growing up, one of the things I was totally sure of was that my parents loved me. It did not matter that they could not give me a lot of this earths goods, or that we did not live in a fancy house, or that I was not dressed in the finest clothes. I knew that I was loved.

 The other thing that I was totally sure of as I was growing up was that Jesus was the ingredient that made life what it should be. Just like a lot of kids, as I was growing up, I thought my parents were perfect. However, as I became an adult, I began to realize that they were not perfect, but they knew how to keep the main thing, the main thing,

It seems in this present day that a lot of parents have forgotten to keep the main thing, the main thing. Relationships, both with our families, with others, and most of all with God, are the driving factor of joy.

I learned early in parenting that there are no perfect parents, but I learned to pray that God would make up the difference. As I reflect back, I am sure that my parents prayed the same thing. God honored that prayer for my children and made up the difference when we failed.

I hurt for today’s parents and children who seem to be looking to society for the answers. Parents are trying to pay bills and be successful in the world’s eyes and children are trying to fit in and find love.

In football when it is 4^th down the team most of the time decides to punt. Sometimes in life we need to just step back and punt. Just as in football this does not mean that we have lost the game, but it means we need to take a look at how we are doing things. If we are continually being frustrated in our lives and what we are doing, it may be time to step back and take a look at how we are living life.

Matthew 6:33

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you ^“

If we believe Jesus is Lord and God is who He says He is, then we should be living life accordingly.

What is your motivation in life? I hurt for good people, loving parents, who are so busy trying to make things work that they have no time to spend on relationships. What a tragedy that our minds have so been affected by the world systems that we do not understand, the Creator God, Master of all that is, just wants a close relationship with His creations. The one who spoke it all into existence can surely provide the right jobs, careers, ministries for us if we will seek Him first.

Where a lot of the people who call themselves Christian live, is with SLOPPY CHRISTIANITY.

The Creator God gave the very best when He sent Jesus. Jesus gave all that He had when He died on the cross, took the keys of death, hell, and the grave from satan.

 Jesus gave the keys to the kingdom to us and for the most part they sit not used. Should we not, as children of Almighty God, be bringing the kingdom of God to everything we touch? We live so below what God intends, and He is just waiting for us to say Yes, Lord, I put you first. I will pursue you. I will let you help me in all I do. I will let you help me with my job, my career, my parenting, and I will seek you first.

There are some fundamental rules for putting God first.

  a) Pray daily and consistently // Have a time when you are totally focused on how you are praying. Your alone time with God. And then keep a prayer on your heart at all times. God wants to be a part of your entire day.

  b) Read & Study the Word // To not know the word is like trying to fly an airplane without reading any instructions. Ask God to show you truth from His word and have a plan of study.

  c) Find a good bible believing church and get into it. Be a part of a local body of   believers.

Father, what a joy it is to have an ongoing relationship with you, through your son Jesus. My desire is that everyone I meet knows the peace and joy a relationship with you can bring. You desire that, and it is in our hands to choose the way of true living. I so desire to fulfill my destiny, and I give my life to you fresh and anew this day and know that you will lead and guide me in everything. Perfect that which concerns all who read this and Bless them abundantly. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. A-men

None of us know what tomorrow may hold but if we have trusted Jesus Christ as our Savior, we can know He holds tomorrow and He holds our hand!

I cannot soften a hard heart, but He can! I cannot make a sick person or a diseased person well, but He can! I cannot make the blind to see or the prodigal to come home, but Jesus can do all those things.

Without Him we can do nothing good but with Him we have the Power of the Holy Spirit within us to pray and things happen!

When they do not happen on our timetable the Bible says:

2 Corinthians 12:9A (KJV) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

When John the Baptist was asked about what Jesus was doing vs what he was doing John replied:

John 3:30 (KJV) He must increase, but I must decrease.

Sounds easy enough but walking it out is harder than we think. We are created with choice and a spirit of independence. That translates into having our way! Disagreements, arguments, and killing all come from wanting our own way or desiring to be recognized or honored!

We have all heard that we should do what we are called to do and leave the results to God!

We have also heard that much can be accomplished if we do not care who gets the credit!

Jesus taught His disciples several times in the gospels that to be great in Gods kingdom you must be a servant!

We may think we can do that, but we need to examine our hearts! Are we willing to work behind the scenes because that is where God placed us, receiving no audible praise for it? Are we willing to help those in need when no one sees it?

I wonder how much we are willing to decrease so that Jesus and servanthood can increase in our lives!

Are we willing to keep serving Him when we, like Paul, see no answer to our prayers! Are we ready to just live in His grace and strength when we have no strength!

The word says to cast all our care on Him for He cares for us! If we cast it on Him, we are not carrying it anymore and He is increasing in our lives and we are decreasing!

A song from years ago says: “Give it all, Give it all, Give all to Jesus! Shattered dreams and wounded hearts, broken toys, and He will turn your sorrow into joy!”

One of the verses starts with: “Are you tired of chasing pretty rainbows, are you tired of spinning round and round!” It goes on to say, “Wrap up all the shattered dreams of your life and at the feet of Jesus lay them down!”

My interpretation of that is: “He must increase and I must decrease and His grace is sufficient for all I need and I can walk in His strength!

So today I encourage you to join me in letting Him increase more and more in us and us decrease more and more!

He Loves each of us and sees us and will turn all things for our good and his Glory!

Are we willing to let Him by giving Him all!!!!

All of you have heard and said, “Time flies when you are having fun”!

In the good and tough times! In the celebrations and the grief! In Blessings overflowing!

TIME FLIES!

I have a birthday coming up in a few weeks so today I renewed my driver’s license! Now I have not asked for the expiration, and the temporary did not say but if it is like the one I had renewed it will be 8 years.

In eight years, I will be turning 90 years old! As I was pondering this, I began to think of my life.

Since birth I have been blessed and received the Heavenly Fathers forgiveness when I really messed up or made utterly ridiculous mistakes!

But when I think of His Faithfulness in the midst of all turmoil, confusion, and rejoicing, my heart overflows with Love and Adoration for the one who gives Peace that the world cannot give and Joy unspeakable and full of Glory!

He has protected myself and family so many times and has given me amazing children and spouses, and grandchildren and spouses and Ten great-grandchildren!

He has allowed me to share the word in Song and Teaching and helped me write some of what I have learned. All of this to lift up the name of Jesus and encourage the body of Christ: The Church!

As my outward self gets a little slower and I cannot do all I used to do the inward me is renewed day by day! My youth is renewed like an eagle, and I can never stop praising Jesus Christ my Savior for the Peace and Joy deep within and for friends and family that genuinely Love me!!

I just want to Bless you Lord, oh, my Soul and all that is within me and Bless your Holy name!

I rejoice in you Lord and in the Power of your might!

You Lord are Light and Lift us up and you fill you Children with your Holy Presence!

You, Lord fill us with Love for each other and compassion for those around us!

I just want to Praise for a million years for your Blessings on me!

Today I am full of worship and praise! Tomorrow may bring tears and sorrows, it may bring grief and pain, but our Heavenly Father is already in our tomorrows, and He is Faithful and smooths the way and gives us strength!

Why do we worry and why do we fret? Our God has never failed us yet!

I want to encourage you today:

If you are grieving, lean on Him and know He cries with you!

If you are sick come to Him and find rest for your Soul knowing that He has healing and Trust His nature of Love when you cannot see His hand moving!

If you are tired, He will give you rest!

If you are depressed or confused about which way to go, begin to use the weapon of Praise and the word!

We learned this weekend at the Fearless Conference that we need to understand we are beautiful and powerful children of God! We learned we are here for such a time as this and we were given the truth of Blooming where we are planted!

As I share with you my thoughts on this day, I have paraphrased some scriptures! Now I encourage you directly from the word to do as David and the Apostle Peter say!

Psalm 28:7 (KJV) The Lord is my strength and my shield;

My heart trusted in him, and I am helped:

Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;

And with my song will I praise him.

1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Father, thank you for your Blessings in my life! Thank you for touching each one who reads this with the sure knowledge inside that you are with them in every situation and circumstance! I have a necklace that my sweet daughter gave me that is a beautiful key on a great chain. It has a stone in it, and I love it.

However, as lovely as that key is, it opens nothing. It is good to look at but will not reveal what is in a locked area. It does not really function as a key but only looks like one.

In our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ in this world, we are temporarily in, we like to proudly show the beautiful keys of talent, abilities, admirations, and successes but our lives with God are not real and will not open the doors of the Kingdom to the World around us, who desperately need Jesus Christ in our lives.

Jesus declared in teaching us to pray that we pray: Matthew 6:10 (KJV)
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

That settles the fact that Jesus wants us to have good things and see awesome things happen in our lives and ministries just as good and awesome things are in heaven.

In Matthew 16, Jesus had asked the disciples who people were saying He was. They gave several answers and then read what happens next:

¹⁶ And Simon Peter answered and said,

Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

¹⁷ And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
¹⁸ And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and

upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

¹⁹ And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Jesus is saying that He will build His Church on the truth that “HE IS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD,” AND NOTHING WILL PREVAIL AGAINST IT.

Then in verse 19 Jesus tells us that when we truly grasp the fact that He is The Christ, the Son of the Living God, He will give us the “KEYS TO THE KINGDOM!”.

May I tell you that when we know who Jesus is, we have the authority and power to loose and to bind the Spirits that are at work in this world.

We can loose those around us from mind-bending spirits and bind them to the mind of Christ Jesus. We can loose from the bondages of destructive habits and bind to the freedom of life in Jesus. We can loose from sickness and bind to divine healing. You get the picture.

Now, let’s think about the keys. At our church we have specific keys for specific doors, but we also have a Master Key. This key opens all the doors except the door where the financial records are kept.

In our walk with Jesus, when we understand who He is, He wants to give us the Master Key to open everything we need and to give Him Glory. However, like our financial records office, we may be holding back one area that we will not allow the Master key to open.

We may grasp the greatness of our God, and we may have the Master Key to open all doors, but there is one area of our life we will not release to the Lord Jesus. He wants to change that lock to the fit the Master Key also.

Hold nothing back. Release all things and people to Him and use the Keys of the Kingdom to bring His Kingdom to Earth!!!

How do we use the Master Key:  Praise, Adoration, declaring what God has already done, speaking the Word and Truth! Bringing our minds into captivity of the Lord Jesus. Binding evil and loosing the Glory and Power of Almighty God!!!

God is Greater than any other!!!  Do we believe that!!!

There is an old song that says: “Nothing between my soul and my Savior!” 

That is my desire!!

Father God, in Jesus name I come to you with an open heart. Cleanse me and make me pure within and I declare, nothing between you and me. Thank you for your Love and desire to Bless those who will open all they are, have, and desire to you. Mold us into the Army of Mighty Warriors that you want to give “THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM”! May the truth of who you are so invade us that we understand the Power and Authority that is ours. Bless all who read this with all Spiritual Blessings. YOU ARE LORD!!!   Amen

To me it is hard to comprehend that we are in August, schools have gone back into session, and if we close our eyes for long, we will be entering 2027.

My thoughts go to the truth of who is guiding each of us in our daily lives! Most of you understand that prayer is important and you may walk in that or you may pray when trouble comes.

But there are situations in our lives that we experience and do not know what or how to pray! The grief may be too deep, the pain in our body may be too bad, the Doctors report may be devastating, or our child may be walking in the way of the culture rather than in the way of the Lord!

There are times when we must decide the action to take in a situation and have no idea what the right one is.

I have been in many of those places, have you!

What do we do? Who do we ask? Who guides us in our lives?

You are probably familiar with these scriptures!

1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Luke 11:10 (KJV) For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Those are absolutely guidance in handling the things in our lives!

But what makes these actions effective?

We have a partner to help us pray. And this partner helps us when we do not know how to pray!

The Holy Spirit that lives within each of us will guide our words and communicate with the Father even when we cannot speak!

I want to call your attention to Romans 8:26 and 27

Romans 8:26–27 (KJV) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. ²⁷ And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Have you ever been to a place where you did not know what to pray for and/or all you could do is weep? Those are prayers that a God hears! Those request and hurts and confusions are intersession by the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit always prays in Gods perfect will!

When we praise and worship and all we can do is weep because God is so real and we are in His presence, are praises through the Holy Spirit!

The Holy Spirit wants to help us pray in the most effective way, whether in words we understand or groanings and tears we cannot comprehend!

The Holy Spirit also makes intercession for as we pray in a heavenly language that we do not understand but it is in the perfect will of God.

I know some of you may not understand all or some of what I have shared but the point is that you have the Holy Spirit that wants to help you when you pray! And pray we must! Pray about everything! Go about you day with an attitude of prayer!

The Bible calls it praying without ceasing, meaning living life with the knowledge we are not alone but the Father who created us will guide and lead us every step of the way through the Holy Spirit within us!

Father, I come in Jesus name and thank you for the Holy Spirit who guides and intercedes for us deep inside as we open our hearts to hear! We are not meant to struggle from day to day, and you have sent us a helper to guide us by the gently impressions in our spirit or through our griefs and tears and all other ways we need help! May we all be encouraged that we are never alone! Amen!
