Morning will come!!
It does not matter that it stormed all night or that you cried buckets of tears about some one or some situation in your life, morning will come.
Whether you live to see it or not, morning will come. Morning is as sure as the God we serve. It may come as a rainy day or a day filled with storms and disasters.
It may come as a day filled with sunshine and joy. It may come filled with grief or it may come with sickness and disease.
It may come with a new life born or a life that has ended here on earth to be continued in eternity.
However the night went, you can rest assured, morning will come.
Time: days, nights, seasons will come and go regardless of what happens.
The apostle Paul in the book of acts says:
Acts 20:24 (KJV)
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
What moves you. Paul was saying that no matter what happened to him, his focus was on finishing his life with joy. Paul suffered much but was so focused on the call of God to spread the Love of Jesus, that none of these things moved him.
It would be great to be able to say that no hurts, sickness, situations, people move us. But honestly although I am trying to walk in that, I am moved by things that happen to respond in ways that are less than true trust in the one who loves me most.
Worry is one thing that we should never be moved to do. Anger at others and despair in situations are things that should never move us.
Although I feel I am keeping my eyes on the goal of fulfilling my destiny, I know I sometimes succumb to the humanity of life.
Maybe you are the same, but I have good news. Even when some things do move us, the Love and Care of the creator God never changes.
In Philippians this same Paul tells how he lets none of his failures move him:
Philippians 3:13-14 (KJV)
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Paul understood that perfection was impossible but forgetting all the failures, he was pressing on toward that destiny God had for him. He knew that no matter where he found himself, morning would always come. Jesus would never leave him, and God would send myriads of angels to minister to and through him, to fight for him and to guard him,
Do we understand that “If God is for us, who can be against us!”. We are on the winning side.
No matter how dark or stormy your night is right now keep holding to the hand of the one who gave His life for you. Understand the morning will come, both in the world and in your life.
The bottom line is in order to live life in the none of these things move me sphere, we must understand the Love of Father God and that we can truly trust His nature even when and where we cannot see His hand.
Then none of these things will move us and we will understand that the morning will surely come and with God on our side…. Joy Comes in the Morning!!
Father, what Love sent Jesus to the Cross. What a plan to redeem mankind and make communication with you possible. That is the kind of Love we can walk in and know that regardless of situations, morning will come, and we will overcome. Help each of us recognize the beauty in each day and in each phase of life and just let your Love and your care flow through us and out to others. Amen
I pray none of these things move us!!
Love, MeMaw
