Psalm 100:4 (KJV )

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,

And into his courts with praise:

Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Today I want to share scriptures that give us instructions to praise the Lord, and they tell us who He is. I encourage you to read these aloud several times and meditate on what they say. It will lift you up and give you a smile!

Psalm 95:1–7 (KJV)

O come, let us sing unto the Lord:

Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

² Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving,

And make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

³ For the Lord is a great God,

And a great King above all gods.

⁴ In his hand are the deep places of the earth:

The strength of the hills is his also.

⁵ The sea is his, and he made it:

And his hands formed the dry land.

⁶ O come, let us worship and bow down:

Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

⁷ For he is our God;

And we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.

Psalm 91:1–2 (KJV)

¹ He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

² I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:

My God; in him will I trust.

Psalm 1:1–3 (KJV)

¹ Blessed is the man

That walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,

Nor standeth in the way of sinners,

Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

² But his delight is in the law of the Lord;

And in his law doth he meditate day and night.

³ And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,

That bringeth forth his fruit in his season;

His leaf also shall not wither;

And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

⁶ Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.

Praise ye the Lord.
