Me-Maw Thoughts

I want to share with you some thoughts from July of 2021. The statistics are probably increased by a lot, and the outreaches have no doubt increased also!

Do you have food to eat, clothes to wear, and a bed to sleep in?

Do you realize that in 2019 there were 690 million or 8.9% of the world population were undernourished? 35 million of those were in the United States.

There are approximately 100 million homeless people worldwide and 500,000 in the United States.

Those of us who are blessed with many choices of clothing never wear 50% of the clothes in our closets.

Why am I telling you this? Because Jesus came to give Life and Life abundantly!

Luke 12:48 (KJV) says in part: For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required:

1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJV)
Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

If you answered yes to the question at the beginning, you are Blessed more than many in the world! What are we doing with our Blessings?

There are many amazing works of sharing food, clothing, housing and most importantly Jesus, around the world.

But as I was reading some of the things happening, it occurred to me how many of us take our Blessings for granted!

In the Tigray region of Ethiopia Solomon and his pregnant wife, and two children had to flee to another place because of the fighting that was getting closer and closer to their family. In the place they fled to food was scarce and when Samaritan’s Purse came and gave them non-perishable nutritious food, Solomon made this statement:

“Now my children will eat until they are full, before they could only have one bite.” Can you imagine not being able to allow your kids to eat more than one bite, whether that is one bite a meal or one bite a day.

Operation shoe box is bringing to kids all across the world the first gift many of them have every received and they are receiving the truth of Jesus along with it.

An 18-month-old was given his health back through an operation by “Children’s Heart Project”, that Samaritan’s Purse has! Because of this an entire village who was steeped in witchcraft, was brought to Jesus!

Clean water access was brought to a village whose people got dirty water from a pond because that was all that was available. This made the children sick, but they had no choice. Then loving Christians moved in with the answer and now they have clean water and the good news of Jesus!

In Brooklyn New York is the headquarters of “Metro World Child,” that is now reaching children around the world!

250,000 children weekly are hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the slums of New York this outreach has the largest Sunday School in the world. They are reaching, feeding, and doing amazing things for the Lord Jesus!

There are amazing works of Jesus going on in our Nation and World.

Our own church, Joshua’s Place in Jackson Georgia, feed the hungry, go to the homeless, minister to the prisoners, and help those who are overcoming addictions! We also send monetary help to ministries in Israel, the USA, and around the world.

As we just celebrated freedom in American on the 4^th of this month, I begin to think that I am blessed just to have been born in this amazing country.

The USA is not perfect, but it is the most amazing country in the world. That is why so many are trying to get into this nation, and yet many of us who were born here do not appreciate that Blessing.

 But may I ask you today what you are doing with the amazing Blessings you have? You are blessed to be a blessing.

As I have said many times, we cannot do everything, and maybe we cannot do much, but we can do something.

I implore you today to ask Father God, what you can do to touch lives with the Gospel by first meeting their needs.

Maybe someone in your sphere of influence needs food, clothes, shelter, school supplies, a Christmas gift, or maybe they just need a friend who will listen and love them unconditionally.

May we who are so Blessed and so spoiled begin to look outside ourselves, outside our selfish desires, and really see people as Jesus sees them: His creations, which have been brought down by the enemy.

Everything we possess or are able to do is from the Heavenly Father. What are we doing with the funds, possessions, talent, abilities, and people that God has made us stewards over? It is all His, we are to follow His instruction for its use!

Father, forgive us when we fall into the trap that it is all about us. May each of us realize where our Blessing come from and that we are only Stewards or caretakers of it all. May we follow your leading for use of provisions, talents and abilities and Love to touch others for you! In Jesus name I pray! Amen

Jesus is our Savior and is making intersession for us.

We go to Jesus at different times and situation:

BUT TODAY I ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPROACH JESUS JUST AS A GROUP OF CHILDREN DID.

 Mark 10:13-16 (KJV)
¹³ And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
¹⁴ But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
¹⁵ Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
¹⁶ And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Notice that the parents brought the kids to Jesus to be blessed by him. But I ask you this morning to think about the children. Think like a child.

I BELIEVE THEY HAD NO DESIRE EXCEPT TO BE WITH JESUS. THEY SAW HIS LOVE AND JOY EXPRESSED THROUGH HIS SMILE AND EYES. JESUS TELLS US TO COME AS A LITTLE CHILD. HE MEANS WITH LOVE AND THE CAPACITY TO ENJOY WITHOUT EXPECTATION.

I BELIEVE RIGHT NOW, THAT JESUS JUST WANT US TO SPEND SOME TIME HANGING OUT WITH HIM.

• Ask him for nothing!
• Tell him none of your problems and situations!
• Just enjoy being with Jesus and let Jesus enjoy being with you.

David was ready to fight goliath when the occasion arose because he had spent many nights on the hillside with the sheep just hanging out with Jesus. Writing praise songs to him. He was confident that God was with him because he had developed a friendship. He knew who Jesus was.

We are just supposed to enjoy being in the presence of the king of kings and lord of lords.

WE TAKE LIFE AND OURSELVES TO SERIOUSLY SOMETIMES.

Jesus said.: Revelation 3:20 (MSG)
²⁰ Look at me. I stand at the door. I knock. If you hear me call and open the door, I’ll come right in and sit down to supper with you.

IMAGINE RUNNING TO JESUS. IMAGINE LOOKING INTO HIS LOVING EYES. IMAGINE LAUGHING WITH HIM AND LETTING HIM SPIN YOU AROUND. IMAGINE DANCING WITH HIM AND JUST LAYING BACK ON THE GRASS AND WATCHING THE CLOUD FORMATIONS. JUST BASK IN BEING WITH HIM.

As we sit in His Presence just let him enjoy you loving him and let him love you.

Father, we love your presence and adore you! In your presence is fullness of joy! Thank you that we can just hang out with you and bask in reality that we are loved and secure in you! Amen!

I am thinking today of my desire for each of you who read this. My heart is full of God’s Blessings to me of awesome family and great friends and neighbors.

I have lived over 81 years and though there have been hard times and valleys as well as the good times, I feel that I have been blessed beyond all measure!

To know the Lord Jesus as Savior is to walk in peace that the world cannot give and even though we find ourselves not always walking in that peace, we understand the place to find it is in the presence of our Savior.

So, today I desire for you the warmth of knowing you are loved by the creator God and He will never leave nor forsake you! I desire you receive and give kindness and a smile and spread the joy Jesus gives!

I desire each of you to understand you are vital to making this world a better place by showing love not hate, by speaking in faith not fear, and by doing good and not revenge!

My heart prays for each of you to realize that you can release every situation you face, no matter how bad it looks to the Lordship of the one who created you and who will guide you in every move and decision if you allow it!

Ultimately my desire would be for each of you to have a perfect life but since that is impossible in this life, I pray for your continued health, for healing of any sickness or disease and favor with God and with people wherever you go.

I desire the smile of a baby to brighten your day and the laughter of a child to put praise in your heart!

I pray for you to look at the flowers, trees, birds, and all nature and understand if God cares for those He will and can handle everything you need for Him to!

I pray a song will touch you with gladness, and a phone call will fill you with strength!

My desire for each of you is good food, good friends, and good church and relationships!

But most of all, without sounding like a broken record, I desire you know and serve the Lord Jesus with all your heart. If you do not understand, just receive what He paid for on the cross and you will comprehend what I am saying.

To have a relationship with Jesus cannot be fully explained but needs to be experienced!

I pray for Jesus to be your dearest friend and guide you every day.

In closing I want to leave you with this prayer Paul prayed for the church in Colossians 1:9-14. I encourage you to read and pray both versions over yourself and those you love!

As I was reading the familiar story of Jesus first miracle, in Cana of Galilee, in John chapter two, I want to share some insights that the Lord spoke to my Spirit.

There are many ways to look at all this stands for and we have heard it taught in different ways. The scripture is always reminding us of truths to make our hearts glad and mature us in our walk with the Lord.

Jesus was attending a happy occasion, but an embarrassing problem arose and His mother, Mary, asked Him to fix it. May I tell you when we encounter a sudden or on-going situation that needs fixing, Jesus can fix it. Mary had no doubt of Jesus Power!

They had runout of wine and Mary told the servants to do whatever Jesus told them to! Jesus told them to fill the six waterpots they had with water. He then had them draw water out and give it to the head person at the wedding feast! It was not just a good wine it was the best.

We are the vessels and the water is the word!

2 Timothy 2:20 (KJV) But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

1 Corinthians 3:16 (KJV) Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

We are created to Honor God. We are His Vessels, Temples, made to do good!

Ephesians 5:26 (KJV) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

The word is the water we should be filled with. When we read, study and let God fill us with the truth of the word, we become vessels of Honor and not of dishonor.

It took great faith for the servants to draw out the water to serve it. They just obeyed.

 We must follow that example and when we feel like we have nothing to give, if we let God draw out our words, our work, our ministries (whatever form that takes) we lead others to new and real life and gladness in Jesus.

But it takes faith. Sometimes great faith. The servants may have been shaking as they drew what they knew was water to give to the head of the wedding feast!

It could be fear that keeps you from letting the word that is in you flow out to others, fear of not saying anything worthwhile.

But when we trust God and just obeyed what He says, He takes what we have to give and turns it into a miracle to change lives.

I desire to be that vessel that is filled with the word of God and by faith flows out to people and in and through situations.

What about you? What type of vessel are you? A vessel focused on self or a vessel filled with the word and focused on eternal things.

What is God saying to each of us that we are afraid to obey because of various reasons.

Faith is seeing it with spiritual eyes and obeying what we are led to do to guide and help others!

But we must allow the Holy Spirit to fill us with the water of the word! We cannot pour out of an empty vessel.

If the servants had not filled the water pots with water, they would have had nothing to draw from.

If we do not spend time being strengthened and filled with His word, we will not have anything to draw from. We will be an empty vessel or a vessel filled with junk.

May we all be full of the word and ready to be used for God’s glory!

Father, fill us full of your truths as we spend time in your word! Thank you for stirring up a desire within all who read this to be obedient and give out of the abundance of a heart, or vessel, filled with glory and truth. May we understand obedience brings victory, peace, and power. In Jesus’ name I pray! Amen!

How many times over the last few days have you heard and said yourself, “It is so cold,” or “I’m freezing”?

Most of us think that if we wanted this kind of weather we would move to the north!

We have all heard the instructions to cover plants, bring pets inside, cover outside faucets, leave cabinet doors open and faucets dripping. We have been cautioned during the ice and snow to stay off the roads and be prepared for power outages!

We all heard and prayerfully you obeyed! However, I am sure there are those who heard but ignored the warnings. Not because they are part of the groups that work on our power, on the roads, or protect us or give us medical help, but because they thought they knew best!

I have no doubt they suffered for it, but at best they were not prepared for all that happened!

The Bible, the word of God, tells us that Jesus was born, lived a sinless life, died a horrible death, was buried and rose again on the third day!

We hear, but do we believe?

The writer of Hebrews says of the Israelites in the wilderness:

Hebrews 4:2 (KJV) For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

The writer is saying that to hear is not enough, we must receive the truth and believe it to enter the rest that comes with trusting in Jesus as our Savior!

We can have rest for our Spirit and soul (our mind, will and emotions), when we believe the word of God.

We will also enter complete rest when we see Jesus face to face. Meanwhile we can walk in this world with the rest that only Jesus can give!

The writer tells us that Gods word us like a two-edged sword.

One commentaries thought is that Gods word is one side and when we speak the word it is the other side, making it a two-mouthed sword!

We hear, speak, and obey what we believe.

In the last few days, we have put candles and flashlights, lighters, and other things together in one place that is easy to get to. (praise God our power has stayed on). We have followed the suggestions for keeping water flowing and have stayed off the roads.

Why, we heard and obeyed.

How sad that many times in our spiritual walk, we hear, we think we believe but do not obey!

On the cross, before He gave up His life to redeem those who would believe and receive, Jesus declared “IT IS FINISHED”!

The meteorologist told us what was coming and others told us how to prepare! The Dot told us how to stay safe! But it was up to each of us to listen and obey!

Jesus completed salvations plan! When we surrender our will to His and let Him guide us and give us wisdom, we can rest inside us as we go about our daily lives!

To quote one commentary, “Gods finished works supersede the brokenness of our planet”!

So, despite all the ugly that is going on in the world, when we take Jesus as Savior, and agree and speak God’s words, we can have peace and rest that will only come from HIM!

There is a song from way back that says:

TRUST AND OBEY, FOR THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!

TO BE HAPPY IN JESUS, BUT TO TRUST AND OBEY!

It is definitely winter! As we encounter the cold temperatures and other cold weather events of January, I want to share some thoughts I had on something some of us drink more of when it is cold. Coffee! Yes, you read right, I want to talk about coffee!

I like my coffee hot and with just cream, no sweeteners! Others like flavored creamers or something to make the coffee sweet. But hot coffee is the drink of millions, so take note of what I am about to share!

When drinking coffee, I most always am reading the word or doing something along with enjoying that hot beverage!

If I neglect to keep drinking the perfect temperature coffee and let it sit for two long it begins to cool down. Cooling coffee just does not work for me. I end up taking it to the microwave and heating it, so it is the hot temperature I like!

You may like cold coffee or different hot beverages but read on to get the point of the thoughts I want to share!

When we get a desire deep within us and realize we are to fulfill that desire, dream or vision, we get excited and do something to move toward that and make plans on paper or in our hearts for the next steps.

Then we hit a hard place or a bump or wall or something that stops us! It may be an illness, or family situation! It may be the frustration of what we are doing is not working or it may be the inability to do some of the things necessary to go forward!

We may find ourselves stuck and the vision, dream, or desire begins to cool! Soon it has been stuck long enough that we give up and let it lie dormant in our heart!

Well, my words to you today are: PUT THAT DREAM, VISION, AND/OR DESIRE IN THE MICROWAVE OF GODS ANNOINTING AND PRESENCE AND LEADING AND GUIDING!

Let the power of God stir up within you the knowledge and direction you should take. We all know we will not see the total picture, but God will show us the next step, if we take the last step He showed us. If we need help, God will put the right person in our path to help or may give us supernatural guidance of how to proceed!

But just as the coffee gets colder and colder the longer it sits untouched, our dreams, desires, and visions will lie dormant until we spend time in His presence and heat up the fire deep within us and let the Lord God Almighty show us the next steps and we follow peace!

Colossians 3:15 (KJV) And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

God will give you peace as He directs and you listen and obey!

Mark 7:16 (KJV) If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

Jesus said this several times in the scripture. His meaning is when we set our heart to listen with the intention of obeying, we have ears to hear!

When we hear with spiritual ears we recognize and follow truth because the truth sets us free from all the different things that have our visions, dreams, and desires blocked!

John 8:32 (KJV)And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

 John 16:13 (KJV) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Jesus will guide us, but we must sit in His presence and listen with ears to hear!

John 10:27 (KJV) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

We are His! May we sit in His presence and PUT OUR DREAMS, VISONS, AND DESIRES IN THE HOLY SPIRIT MICROWAVE!

Father, stir up within each of us the plans you have for us at this time and in this season of life! I ask you to send all hindrances to the fulfilling of what you have placed within us back to hell where they belong and show us the way and open doors no man can shut! We love you Lord and desire to do your will! Mold each of us into usable vessels to be used in your kingdom! I pray this in Jesus’ name! Amen!

I pray your year has started off amazing! But I know that for some of you these first days of 2026 have been far from amazing! I pray that God is your refuge and strength in all that is going on in your lives!

The word that has been churning in my spirit the last couple of days is “complaints.”

Everyone has certain ideas and things they want to happen in their life and the situations and circumstances they are involved in! And we all sometimes find ourselves venting or complaining about something or someone!

But each of us has encountered some who are always in mode of complaint! Nothing is right. Everybody else has it good but everything in their lives is wrong and not working out.

I have known and know people whose food at a restaurant is never right, the server has an attitude, the church services are too long, or the kids are not being taught right!

They did not get the announcement of a meeting! Their hair is awful and all their clothes are junk! The kids are sassy and disobedient, and they don’t feel loved by their spouse or anyone else!

Good is happening in the life of everyone they know, but not themselves. Whatever they cook is not right and their life is one of constant complaining.

Do you see yourself in these examples? Do you find yourself in part of this? May I tell you what the Lord God Almighty wants you to know!

First, He Loves you and wants the best for you and is standing ready to pour out blessings you cannot contain. However, you have closed your heart to blessings and believed the lie that nothing good has or will ever happen to you.

You must stop, drop to your knees, and spend time in His presence and let the power of the creator change your view of life, of Him, and of His plan for you!

It is in His presence we get a glimpse of His power and His glory! It is in His presence we find the peace to release all things to His Lordship and know that the Lord God, creator of the universe, gives us good and perfect gifts and will never leave us nor forsake us!

But: you may say, things are not always smooth! Problems arise and sickness, hurts, confusion, and failures happen!

You have a weapon that will give you strength and power in the midst of the storm.

It is Praise! Praise is a weapon of warfare against evil in the world and the things the enemy may bring into your life!

I am reminded of the singers praising God as they marched toward three enemies who had joined to defeat them. Jehoshaphat followed God’s instructions, and the singers went forth before the army singing, “Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth forever.”

This is found in 2 Chronicles 20 and as they were marching toward the enemy and praising, the enemies turned against each other and all the Israelites found were dead bodies of those who had joined to defeat God’s children!

2 Chronicles 20:22 (KJV) And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

Maybe you feel like enemies of all that is good have joined forces against you and your life. May I tell you praise will turn the enemies against each other!

Praise is a powerful weapon and praise; true praise comes from time in His presence!

Psalm 16:11 (KJV) Thou wilt shew me the path of life:

In thy presence is fulness of joy;

At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Do you find yourself in the middle of complaining. Come aside and spend time with your creator and allow Him to replace lies, with truth. The truth will set you free! Free from complaining and free to be all you were created to be!

Hebrews 13:5 (KJV) Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Father, thank you! You are real and your presence is real and it gives us confidence of who we are in you and who you have called us to be! Father, mold us into useable vessels to be used to bring your kingdom to earth! Let us walk in Praise and victory every day of our lives and through all circumstances and situations. You are real and we are Blessed in every way! Thank you for peace that the world cannot give! In Jesus’ name I Pray! Amen!

No matter what else I might decide to eat in the mornings, I try to end up eating a banana. You may or may not like bananas, but I think if you read on, you will agree with the thoughts I have on bananas this morning.

A banana can be green or ripe. They can be just right or rotten and their looks can sometimes fool you.

I cannot tell you the number of times I have pulled the peeling back on a perfect looking banana and found half or more has turned brown, black or ugly.

Other times a banana with bruises on it shows perfect fruit when the peeling is pulled back.

Some cooks know how to take an overripe banana and make banana bread or take a green banana and fry it or use some other method to take what it is and make it good.

If you read my writings or heard my teachings, you are sure to know where I am going with these thoughts!

May we compare ourselves to a banana!  We look different on the outside both physically and spiritually! But I want to zero in on the spiritual part of each of us which is the true person deep in your innermost being!

We may be the green banana who has just discovered we are loved by God and have a loving savior. Or what about the overripe or one who has taken in the word and not shared it or lived it out!

Let’s think about the one who looks perfect and all spiritual on the outside but inside is full of hurt and ugly memories and unforgiveness and despair!

Then there are those who are bruised and battered on the outside but inside have a heart that is released to the Lord Jesus and is perfect before Him because their attitude is right!

May I give you good news! Our creator God can take any of us and make something useful and beautiful!

God loves each of us as we are! Just as a banana in any condition is still a banana, we are still useful in the kingdom of God as we let go and let Him mold us!

He can take the new believer (green) and make a delicious representative of himself as that person matures in the promises of God!

God can take the mush of a life soaked in Gods Love but not sharing (overripe) and make a delicious life that gives off the fragrance of the love of Jesus and draws others to a relationship with our savior!

May we understand that our Heavenly Father can open the deepest places of the one who is dependent on looking all together and right on the outside (perfect) and heal the deep and hurt places and flood their hearts with good and right attitudes to share the real and perfect Jesus! Just as we discard the rotten places of a banana, He will lead this one to discard the junk deep inside them!

And He can continue to bring good fruit from one who may be going through problems and situations that have them bruised and damaged, but they are right with our creator on the inside!

I stated that God loves us as we are, but the rest of that is He loves us too much to leave us that way!

God is good and has an awesome plan for you! He can take a life in any condition that yields to His lordship and use it to bring His kingdom to earth!

Psalm 139:23–24 (KJV) ²³ Search me, O God, and know my heart:

Try me, and know my thoughts:

²⁴ And see if there be any wicked way in me,

And lead me in the way everlasting.

What kind of banana are you? Let God search you inside where attitudes create actions, good or bad and mold you into a usable vessel of honor!

December 30, 2025

In one day 2025 will be history and we will enter a new year with all it’s good and bad. With all its challenges and blessings and we have a choice to make!

Will we be looking back at all we did not do that we had planned to accomplish this year and walk into 2026 with regrets? Or will we release 2025 to the Lordship of Jesus and let it go.

 May we first remember the good things of 2025 and thank God for them. I challenge you to make a list of the good things and Blessings from 2025. The birth of a precious baby, healing in your body, food, clothes, a new relationship, breath in your lungs, and provisions, family, etc. I could continue!

Then look at the negative things and I can guarantee the first list far out weights the bad.

Need a job, ask God to lead you to the right one! He will!

Need healing, ask God to touch your body! He will!

Have a wayward child! He will bring them back to you and Him!

I Love the verses in Psalms that assure us Gods sees the deepest desires of our hearts!

Psalm 145:16 (KJV) Thou openest thine hand,

And satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Psalm 107:9 (KJV)For he satisfieth the longing soul,

And filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

When are willing to trust God with the dreams, desires, and goals that are so deep within that we have almost forgotten, He will work out all things for our good and His Glory!

When we open our hearts and just Love Jesus and lean on Him, this 30^th day of December 2025, we will be able to let the cares and hurts and failures and the things left undone go!

The apostle Paul admonishes us to think of the good things and let the bad go!

In my favorite Christmas movie of all time “It’s a Wonderful life,” George Bailey says to Mary his wife: “What do you want Mary, do you want the moon, I’ll give you the moon!”

If you have seen that movie, you know George’s dream of leaving Bedford Falls, building skyscrapers, seeing the world, and giving Mary the moon, never happened! But he did save Beford falls from being fully taken over by a mean rich man, help all those he knew, and had children, and ended up with a wonderful life right where he was.

Maybe that is a lesson for us! Take your dreams, visions, and desires, to Jesus and allow the God who created you to mold them into His plan.

We must let His plan unfold in our lives. It may not look like you thought but will allow you to walk in Peace and change the world around you!

What do you want? You may think you want the moon, but God may have so much more if we release our days, our ways, and the year of 2026 to His Lordship!

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

May we all enter 2026 with eternal values and let Jesus reign in all we do.

What do you want your life to look like on December 30, 2026?

Think about good things and fulfill the reason you were created!

Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Father, thank you, that if we are still alive you have things for us to accomplish for the kingdom and things that will affect our world! You have a plan! Forgive us when we want our way. Take our dreams and desires and mold them into your will, way, and the story you have written for us before we were born! We are on this earth for an eternal purpose! Use each of us to encourage others and defeat evil with good! We love you because you first loved us! Amen!

Luke 2:14 (KJV) “Glory to God in the highest,

And on earth peace,

Good will toward men.”

What? Peace on earth? Good will toward others?

Sounds a little impossible to us in these days of hate and killings and fighting and settling differences with guns and knives!

But yes, it is possible. This announcement was made to the shepherds about Jesus’ birth. He came to bring that Peace and attitude of good will toward others.

Humans are flawed and when we allow evil to prevail, we look at Peace and Good will as impossible.

However, when we look at Jesus who came to change us from the inside, with peace down inside and a love for others the world has no explanation for, it is not only possible but a reality in our lives!

What a Blessing to be able to walk in Peace deep inside and smile at the chaos. How refreshing to have the love of Jesus flow through us to others.

What about you? Are you walking in frustration, fear, and anxiety? Are you angry, mad, or always rushing? Do you feel like the world around you is falling apart and you are falling apart with it?

The answer is to come to Jesus. He was born, showed us how to live, was crucified to restore our relationship with God who created us, and rose to give us complete victory over evil. We just need to come!

John 3:16–17 (KJV) ¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ¹⁷ For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

This was why He came. This was why He suffered and this was why He won the Victory!

So that we can come just as we are and ask Him to guide our lives and Love through us!

In this season of giving, the best gift is to give Him our heart!

WHAT CAN I GIVE HIM,

AS POOR AS I AM.

Father, we give you our entire heart! You in return give us Peace, Love, Joy, and eternity with you. We get so much and give so little, may we consistently be aware of your blessings and spread Peace and Good will to others. In Jesus’ name I pray! Thank you for the gift of life! Amen!
