Uvalde, Texas, and our entire nation and beyond are moved with grief, anger, unbelief, and great sadness at such a tragic waste of God’s greatest gift, life!

We have young people and older who have allowed the forces of hell to influence them to do the unthinkable.

My heart and my eyes cry with grief along with all the families and the entire town as they go through these horrific days and try then to move on into the next days!

As I ponder the rampant evil in our world and the change from an innocent baby to an 18-year-old who had no problem shooting school rooms full of our precious children, I want to share the answer to the raging problem of evil.

Of course, the ultimate answer is Jesus, but I want to talk about the specific answer!

No, I am not going to discuss gun control. No matter what opinion you have on that we will all agree we can do better.

I want us to look at the real need: A HEART CHANGE!

Whether the ugly comes from home life, treatment as a child, bullying at school or elsewhere, abuse of all kinds, neglect, evil video games, music and movies, there is an underlying factor in all of these evil actions. People need a heart changed by the love and power and life-giving sacrifice of Jesus.

Each of us are born with the need for Jesus to be the center of our lives, and we are missing the mark millions of miles when we are not teaching and training our children to trust and rely on the one who made them.

We are created with the freedom to choose and the major thing between good and bad choices is a heart change.

I am encouraged when I see many of our children and youth who have a firm grasp on who Jesus in and who we are as we place our faith and trust in Him and allow Him to live through us.

But my heart breaks as I see so many youths and younger who are floundering about life. What does it mean? They are like paper in the wind, thrown about with everything around them. Trying to be heard, trying to matter!

May the creator God find us laboring and interceding for those who need a heart change!

What does our nation need? What does our children need? What does our world need? A HEART CHANGE! Change from the inside out!

Change that shows us who we are, that we matter and that we are precious and matter to the creator of the universe! Change that shows us we are here for a purpose and our lives matter.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Ezekiel 36:26 (KJV)
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Children today are seeing violence, hatred, strife, everywhere they turn. This confusion is ripe soil for satan’s deception. We MUST share Jesus and lead them to letting the Holy Spirit effect a heart change in them.

Only Jesus can satisfy any of our souls. For our babies in the womb and beyond we need to begin to pray, teach, train, not only our own children but those in our churches, neighborhoods, and communities!

Can we justify the excuses we use to be so casual about prayer and bible reading!

Can we continue to say tomorrow we will start praying and reading the word together with our family!

Please understand! Every Christian must begin to pray for our children to have a heart change. Yes, I understand that we must also pray for parents, political leaders, and all on this earth to have a heart change, but at this moment my heart is broken at the children who are using guns to express their frustration and anger.

These children have no hope, they want to matter, and in some cases, they just want to survive the neighborhood of gangs they are in.

As children of the almighty God, creator of the universe, I believe we can do better!

May we step up and pray fervently for revival in our homes, our churches and our youth and children!

May we ask God, what can I do? How can I help? He will speak if we listen!

A HEART CHANGE!

Father, in Jesus’ name I ask that each one who reads this will make sure their heart is right with you. Then may we all begin the task of showing others they need a heart change. Our precious children are floundering, dying, suffering, because they need a heart change. I pray an awaking in every parent, grandparent, etc. that each of us need to step up and save our children! Amen

Years ago, our son Ron was in the army. He was stationed in Germany, and it had been a long time since we had seen him. He was coming home for leave and I could not contain my excitement. There were some plane delay issues but finally we were at the Atlanta Airport waiting for his flight to land.

Back in those days you could go to the gate and wait for passengers to disembark the plane. As we waited with signs of welcome home, I remember the feelings rolling through me as I intently watched the door to get a glimpse of my baby boy.

One man came out the door and tried to be funny saying to our group “There are no more people on the plane.” He quickly laughed and said he was joking but to this mother that was not funny.

As our son came through the door, I ran and hugged him and welcomed him and at that moment if he had requested the moon, I probably would have tried to figure out how to get it. It had been a long time. We rejoiced, celebrated, cooked his favorite food. He and I had an awesome time fellowshipping with each other

I was expecting as I waited, loving as I ran to him, compassionate as I ask exactly what he wanted to do each day, and provided food and celebrated.

Jesus tells a story of a young man who asked for and received his inheritance. Took it and went to a far country and wasted it, and finally returned home to be forgiven and reunited with his father. We call this the story of the prodigal son!

Yes, the situation is different since my son was serving his country in the military, but I understand some of the fathers’ feelings and can relate to them.

²⁰ And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
²¹ And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
²² But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
²³ And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

Look with me at this loving father!

He was watching. He saw his son while he was a great way off which seems to indicate he watched for him continually.

The father ran to him. He did not wait for the son to get to him but ran to meet him, hugged, and kissed him.

He did not listen to excuses, but put the best robe on him, a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet.

This was restoration at it’s finest, the robe showed royalty, the ring the family authority, and the shoes showing he was family. Servants in that day did not wear shoes.

Unlike I had to do with our son, the father totally forgave the son’s rebellion. He welcomed him with open arms.

May I tell you today that whether you have rebelled and wasted your life, or you just took a wrong turn for a short while, or you are like this fathers older son and have a non-loving attitude, or are just tired of being the one trying to do right, the Father, our Daddy God, is watching and waiting for you to make a move toward home.

He is wanting to run to you, take you in His arms and make all things new. He forgives, forgets, and wraps the robe of righteousness around us.

He places the ring of the authority of Jesus on your finger and puts the shoes of the gospel of peace on your feet.

He welcomes and celebrates you and you can lean on Him and walk in all the authority of heaven no matter your past. It is his forgiveness and Love that makes us whole. We just need to take that step toward Him.

If you need, forgiveness and restoration, or just refreshing and direction, the Father is waiting, watching with open arms. One step toward Him and He will run toward you!

Father, how awesome is your Love and Care for us. I ask you to help each of us understand that you see not only our situations, but you see inside us and know exactly what we need. Forgive us when we think our way is best. You will guide us into the amazing daily life you have planned. May we let you Love, provide, and guide us. In Jesus name I pray! Amen!

My husband and I were Blessed last week to spend some time at the beach in Florida!

As I was enjoying watching the expanse of the water and how it seemed to never end, I also noticed the people who were going into the water.

Some stood right at the edge and let the waves reach them sometimes. Others waded out a little further, to their calf and then the waves would hit them a little higher than that.

Still others waded even further and would take a dip under the water every now and then. And then you had those who just ran into the water, dove right in, and were immediately immersed in it.

As I was observing and enjoying this from my safe place on the beach, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the scripture in Ezekiel where the prophet writes of the Holy Waters going forth from the Sanctuary of God.

In Ezekiel’s prophetic vision this is what he saw coming from the Sanctuary!

³ And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.
⁴ Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.
⁵ Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

This is the truths that I want to share. The Holy waters represent the Holy Spirit and the different depths of the Holy Spirit we allow in our lives.

You have the observers who enjoy watching others be anointed and enjoying the presence of the Spirit of God but just sit and watch and never go forward to encounter that power for their self.

You have some that will test the Holy waters and wade in a little and decide they would rather return to before or just stay in a little of the presence.

Others stand in the shallow for a while and then go a little further and some even further as the Holy presence touch them more and more.

As those who venture out to the tops of their thighs find out, sometimes a wave of the Holy water will hit and fill you over you middle or even further. I am sure if you have ever observed, or been this person, you find that a large wave may even knock you off your feet and you find yourself totally immersed. These would be times when the Power of God so overwhelms you that you cannot stand!

There are those who are so hungry for all of God and so in love with Jesus that they just dive right in and begin to swim. They want all the Holy water they can get as quickly as possible.

The other people that get in the water are those that are on floats. They want to have the presence of the water and have part of them in it, but they hang on to the float because they are not ready to get their entire self in.

In our spiritual walk these are the people who want the Holy Spirit but just enough to enjoy without being totally immersed.

May I tell you that whether you jump in headfirst or wade in a little at a time, you need the Holy Spirit (water) to guide your life. You should be growing in the Lord and in the Power of His Might, by allowing more and more of yourself to be immersed in the presence of the Spirit of God.

Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

Psalm 16:11 (KJV)
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

There is nothing to compare to the presence of the Holy Spirit to fill you to the brim with the overwhelming Love of God!

If you have hesitated because of fear or not understanding or any other reason, just know that you will never regret opening yourself to more and more of the Holy Spirits fullness.

God is good and all good and perfect gifts come from Him. Go on out into the deep water of the Holy Spirit and let Him refresh and renew your life and everything in it!

Father, in Jesus’ name I come! Thank you for the Holy Spirit that lives within each of us who have placed our trust in you. May all who read this go out into the waters to swim in and be immersed in your presence where the cares of this life fade into oblivion and Truth is made real to us. You are Holy, be Holy in each of us! Amen!

I am sure most of you have heard of “Close Encounters of the third kind”!

This morning I want to share with you some truths regarding “Close Encounters of the God Kind”!

I feel sure you have all had these whether you realize it or not!

God has myriads of angels ready for their assignment to Guard, Minister to, or fight for you and me and all creation!

[Heb 1:7 KJV] And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

I believe we have ministering angels to minister deep inside us and to all our needs, guardian angels to protect us and warrior angels to fight for us!

I ask you to think with me today about the times when a tragedy was about to happen, no way to avoid it, but it did not happen! That is what I am referring to as a “Close Encounter of the God kind”!

There is no doubt in my mind that in those times angels have intervened.

Before you write me off as one who has lost her mind, think with me of all the encounters with angels the Bible records.

Some of those were angels appearing as they are, Angels. Some are angels taking another form and some are angels who are not seen!

I have never seen an angel in angel form, but I am sure most of us have encountered angels in human form.

But today I want us to think about the Angels we cannot see and all the times they are protecting, fighting, and ministering to us without our awareness!

I have had multiple instances of this in my life. When I look back, I shudder to think what was inevitable but then was not.

One of those times happened years ago when our son was in High School. He called me at work and had forgotten his Chorus Shirt. Like the good mother I was I headed home to get it and take it to school.

Being in a hurry, on a two-lane road I allowed the front tire to slip off the pavement. As I pulled it back on the road, I overcorrected and started to swerve into the other lane. In the other lane a car was just ahead.

A crash was inevitable, I was turning right in front of that car. No way to avoid it! But  suddenly, my car was on the other side of the road, off the road, facing the opposite direction. As the car passed me, stopped to make sure I was ok, I was in shock.

There was absolutely no way that crash was not going to happen, but it did not. There is no explanation other than angels just moved my car out of the way.

After sitting for a few minutes, I went on my way and got our sons shirt to the school, praising God all the way.

That is one of many instances when it should have but it did not!

Angels have caused cars to start when they would not, emergency rooms to be almost empty when my life depended on it, and I did not even realize it. Storms to go around, and God delays that kept us safe.

There are incredible books written recording angelic interventions of all types.

I desire that each of you would be aware that angels are real! The spirit world is real and when we ask, God sends angels. He will dispatch myriads to protect, fight for in the spirit realm, and minister to each of our hurts and give us peace and a deep down knowing all is well!

Do not misunderstand. Angels do the bidding of the Creator God. Angels are not to be worshipped as some have erroneously taught. God the Father and Jesus our Savior are the only ones we are to worship. But angels are real and if we do not understand this, we are missing tremendous blessing.

Please join with me today and thank our Father God for the availability of Angels who delight to do His will. Remember all those times it should have but it did not:

“ENCOUNTERS OF THE GOD KIND”!!

Father, my heart is full of praise for your Love that sends angels of all kinds to intervene in my life. Thank you for the many times it should have happened, but it did not. No explanation other than your angles coming to the rescue. May each of us understand that there is an unseen spiritual world and a battle between good and evil is going on there and angels are on our side. In Jesus name I pray! Amen

This week once again we learned of the tragic death of a country singer who seemed to have everything. It seems she felt she had no hope and ended Gods precious gift of life!

Today I want to encourage you in different seasons of life! I pray that you will be Blessed as you realize that God sees you where you are, and in whatever season you are in.

To the singles who are dreaming of the prince on the white horse: I pray in Jesus name that you are filled with the knowledge that from eternity past God has the right person to complete the whole He will created in your marriage, and the assurance he can use you mightily while you are single!

To the single parents who are exhausted trying to be Mother, Father, support and pull the household together and make ends meet: In Jesus name I pray the strength of almighty God filling ever pour of your being. I pray wisdom and love is pouring thru you to your children as you realize and pass along that Jesus will give them the center they need. I pray a spirit of ease as you prioritize your day!

To the mothers of preschool children whether you are also working outside the home or full time in the home: In Jesus name, I pray that you will understand how quickly this special time you have with them will pass. I pray that you will enjoy your time with them and use every moment with them to instill Gods love in them. It is a foundation worth building.

To the Fathers who go to work everyday and see many years ahead of your family depending on you for the money you are making and maybe feel weary and tired: I pray in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that He will give you deep down Joy for the journey as you release your days, your future, and your family to Him. I pray that you will understand deep in your spirit that your most important roll in life is to show your wife and children love and lead your family in a close relationship with Jesus Christ. Your walk with the Lord and your teaching about the Lord and your faithfulness to have your family in a good church, will cement all of you together and show them how to “Keep the main thing (Jesus), the main thing”!

To those moms and dads who have had to let their precious children go to school and into an environment that is not completely in your control: I decree and declare in Jesus name that deep in your spirit you will be able to release these blessings God has given you to His control and His Lordship. I pray that the understanding abounds in you that God is everywhere and God Loves your children more than you do! I pray the peace that comes from knowing you can Trust them to one who created them will fill you as you lift them each day to His care!

Pray for and with each other and your children!

To the parents navigating the teen years: I pray that wisdom, understanding, patience and peace, will overflow from you as you realize what formative years these are. I declare in Jesus name that you will understand that you are still the most influential people in your child’s life and even though they may not acknowledge it or seem to pay attention, they are hearing you and more than that they are watching you and even more important they are looking for your love. I ask in Jesus’s name Father, that each parent of teens will realize they need to be the parent and guide and never be afraid to say no or to probe into what their teen is watching or listening to! I pray each parent will understand the importance of instilling the foundation of a relationship with Jesus into those you have placed in their care.

Father, for those who are empty nesters and find it hard to let go of their son or daughter to college, missions, marriage or anywhere away from them, give them the assurance that you will never leave their child and you will dispatch angels to protect, minister and fight for them.

Father, give those who feel like they have failed in raising their children the realization that it is never too late. May they not be too proud to share with their kids that they are sorry and explain the better way (Jesus) to them!

In Jesus name, Father, I lift up to you grandparents, great grandparents, uncles, aunts, and friends. May each of us understand that we are influencing the children, teens, and all people we encounter with good, with hope and with the power of a walk with God or we are influencing them with the wrong way to go!

As I close today, I desire Gods best for you and pray abundance and Blessing on each of you. If you do not see yourself in any of these seasons just know that God sees you. He is aware of every struggle, every concern, and every desire of your heart!

Come to Him and let Him bear every burden, guide you and give you rest!

I want to call your attention today to the yards and properties we see or have.

Some are cut and maintained consistently. In addition to that some have beautiful flowers trees and plants. Some have trees with amazing blooms, and all are a testimony to the amazing resources God has given us to take care of and enjoy.

Then there are the yards and properties that are so overgrown with weeds, and underbrush, etc. the houses and buildings cannot even be seen!

Some of these are abandon but others are just neglected!

Let us look at the third kind of ground Jesus taught about in Luke 8:14!

And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

The setting here is that the word needs to find good ground to flourish and grow. This description of the third ground, actually shows those who receive the word and go forth to walk it out and live it but get caught up in the snare of worry, making money, having fun, until the weeds and wild bushes have grown up and the good that the person intended is choked out with the living of life!

The amplified shows Luke 8:14 this way:

And as for what fell among the thorns, these are [the people] who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked and suffocated with the anxieties and cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not ripen (come to maturity and perfection).

The fruit referred to is the Love and example of Jesus that He will produce in us as we commit all to Him and meditate or think on His truths that are found in the word!

The houses on the properties I mention were built on grounds that were no doubt green and attractive at the beginning. The grounds were an awesome setting for the house and the family it represented and the beauty of architecture and workmanship it displayed!

Perhaps at the beginning the owners worked diligently to maintain the beauty that would lift others as they looked at it and would encourage them to work on their own houses and properties.

There are many today who walked with the Lord Jesus in passion for showing the world a better way and encouraging others.

But over time busy lives, concerns, situations, hurts, confusions and all manner of things and attitudes begin to choke out the word and although this person may feel like they still love Jesus they are showing no fruit or attractiveness to the Gospels better way. They are showing weeds and thorns and a life of surviving rather than thriving!

We must maintain our relationship with Jesus Christ by allowing the word to grow deep roots in our spirit!

We do this by taking the time daily to release our day and all we need to accomplish, our thoughts and our needs to the Lordship of Jesus. Casting all our cares on Him!

The enemy, satan, is out to distract us from the good that we are created to do!

May I tell you that riches will not satisfy. May I tell you the pleasure will not last for very long. And the fact is that worry never helps anything. It only makes you weak and weary!

The good life, the life that brings lasting joy, peace, and contentment, is found only in a life surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. A heart that understands how to love because it has received the unending, matchless, love of God the Father through the Lord Jesus!

We must, however, be on guard! No matter how much we Love Jesus and want to serve Him, if we do not maintain our relationship and walk with Him, through prayer, the word, and fellowship with other believers, we will begin to drift, to worry and to be fruitless because the good has been choked out!

Our lives are to be examples of Jesus and that is how we make a difference!

Do not let anything choke the word so that it is not effective in our lives!

Father, in Jesus’ name I come! Help each of us to be aware of all the things that tempt us to worry, fret, and be to busy to maintain a close relationship with you through Jesus. Help the maintenance of our spiritual life be the number one priority of our days! Busy does not always mean fruitful! Give us wisdom in every decision and may our priorities line up with your word! Amen!

Psalm 90:12 (KJV)
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Colossians 4:5 (KJV)
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

Ephesians 5:16 (KJV)
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

What time is it? We probably ask that question or at least look at our watches or clocks several times each day!

The Bible teaches us to number or make our days count by living in wisdom. The true wisdom that comes from the Creator God is the only real wisdom!

What are we doing with our time? Are we living the way we please and expecting God to bless what we do or are we committing our days and our lives to asking and obeying what He has created us to do?

James 4:14 (KJV)
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

James tells us in the verse above that our life is like a vapor! We are born heading toward death. What are we doing in between? Whose lives are affected for good each day we are on this earth?

We are to redeem or make the most of the time we have on earth to Glorify the Father with our lives and bring His Kingdom here!

What does it mean to redeem the time and number our days? It means to live with an eternal focus! It means to understand that we are to do everything we do as unto the Lord! Whatever our hand finds to do, we do it with all our might!

We live each day in the yoke with Jesus whose burden is light, and yoke is easy, and He does all the hard part!

We commit ourselves and our families to the lordship of Jesus Christ and understand that His way is best!

We spend time meditating on the word and sitting in His presence to receive instructions for our day, our way, our life!

We are to cast all our care on Him, for He cares for us!

We are to live our lives as a light in the darkness, as we work, study, take care of our kids, homes, businesses, and ministries with Jesus as our partner!

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Do you ever feel like you want to shake local, state, national and world leaders, and yell: “Wake up, wake up, use your brain”!

Do you think the one that created us and put each of us on earth for a specific purpose feels that way!

Romans 13:11 above gives us His instruction! It is high time to wake out of sleep!

Look around! Evil is dark and darkness needs light, and we are that light!

The true born-again believers, the church of Jesus Christ, must awake out of our slumber, lethargy, discouragements, and despair, and rise up like a mighty army and tear the devil’s kingdom down!

The end is near! We must love, show, and speak truth as we live our lives!

Jesus is the way! Our walk with Him shows the world the better way!

Are we sleeping? WAKE UP!

Are we sleeping not praying? WAKE UP AND KNEEL DOWN!

Are we sleeping not speaking? WAKE UP AND SPEAK UP!

The world groans for a better way and does not understand that it is a relationship with the Creator God through Jesus Christ our Savior, that they long for and need!

We must be bold and live in the freedom and power of Almighty God.

Jesus taught by telling, but He taught more by showing! He showed compassion! He showed peace and He showed trust in the Father’s will!

What are you showing with your life? Redeem the time! Make your days count!

Father, what amazing plans you have for each of your precious creations! Help each of us to do all you have created us to do, one day at a time, one prayer at a time, and one task at a time, as we understand our days are numbered and we redeem the time! I ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth our Savior and Lord! Amen!

In light of all we see going on around us today, I want to reprint a “Me-Maws

Thought” from November 2019. Think about the changes even since then!

Have you ever just looked at all that is going on around us and felt discouraged because it seems that chaos, compromise, deception, and anything goes attitudes rule?

Have you ever wondered what God thinks as we murder babies by the thousands and live as if there were no eternity, no morals, and no consequence for ignoring God’s Word, will and ways?

Even in our Churches we have many times rejected Holiness for acceptance and being politically correct.

We do not seem to understand that yes God is Love but God is Holy and through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ made a way for us to be Holy and have the Holy Spirit live in us.

I am not referring to perfection but to the desire to please God and do good and live a life that is an example to all of those around us!

I admit that even during prayer and time in the word this morning, I was discouraged by all that goes on in our world and our churches and those who call themselves Christ representatives.

In the midst of tears as I asked God to touch those I know, who have Him as a crutch and live the way they choose, as I was praying the scriptures over my family, I felt that God was weeping with me over the mess humans have made of this beautiful world God has given us! I believe He is saying to us what He said to Jerusalem in the following scripture.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

I believe He is saying oh, America, America, ye who could win the world for me and was established on the Bible, how I want to gather you under my wings and protection, but you will not let me.

I believe He is saying to each of us, oh (insert your name), how much I want to Love you and fellowship with you and fill you with the Holy Spirt and right choices and ways, but you will not listen.

I think we are living in an age of rebellion, which the word says is as the sin of witchcraft. We want to do it our way and will!! 

But God reminds me that He is Victorious, and He will judge the world in righteousness, and He can move mountains, invade people’s hearts, and turn nations to Himself as we give our self to prayer and decreeing and declaring that His Glory covers the earth.

May we begin to declare His Glory, revival, truth and right in our homes, our families, our churches, our towns, our states, our country, our continent, and our world. May we begin to decree that rebellion is sent back to hell where it belongs, and may we show the world we are Christian by our love and our obedience to shun evil and embrace right.

I believe it is time to quit the compromise and live the way we were created to live, in the freedom of truth and light. Jesus is the answer and Jesus is not defeated and we can walk in Faith and Victory, and we walk hand in hand with Him.

Live, love, laugh in the purity of the Holy Spirit in us, and with Jesus, the Hope of Glory!

Let’s take back all the enemy has stolen from us, and the wonderful world God has created!!

Father, thank you that you are Holy. I ask you to be Holy in me! Cleanse me and purify my heart and that purity will flow out to the outward living. Forgive all our compromise and desire to fit in. Forgive our weakness and may we understand that when we are weak, you are strong, so we just lean on you. Thank you for Love and Truth that can change our world. May we be examples of that wherever we go to whoever we meet. Amen

“A little boy stood crying at a busy street intersection. When he was asked why, he said he was lost. Yes, he knew his name but not his home address.

Upon further questioning of landmarks near his home, the church was mentioned. The boy brightened up and said, “There’s a church with a cross that’s lighted at night near my home.” He thought a bit, then said, “Take me to the cross and I can find my way home.”

Out of the mouths of babes comes wisdom!”

Take me to the cross! There is life changing powerful truths in this story!

Are you confused about life? Are you desperate for Peace? Are you lonely or hurting? Are you worried and stressed? Are you lost and wondering aimlessly with no satisfaction or joy!

Get to the Cross!

Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

You can get to the cross any place you are! Just ask Jesus to help you and release your life to Him and receive all He did on the Cross!

Have you wondered from His peace and power in your life?

Just know coming back to the Cross, you will find your way!

Do you have friends, family, those at your work who are desperate for answers to life’s problems?

Point them to Jesus and the Cross of Calvary where He paid the ultimate price!

When we point others to the Cross, they will find a true home for their heart and true peace for their turmoil!

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

You were created for good to point others to the Cross and through the cross comes the resurrection of all every person was created to be!

You have heard me say many times, you are crested on purpose, for a purpose!

This means you are not an accident; you are not a failure; you are not bound to fail or to hurt and lead others astray!

You have a purpose that is waiting for you as you kneel at the cross as give your past, present and future to Jesus and His perfect will for your life!

The warmth, peace, joy, and love of home will be yours and you will be able to spread that to others!

The Cross is pointing up and pointing out. When we truly accept all Jesus did and believe it with all that is within us, we Love the Lord God with all our mind, soul, body, and spirit which is love straight up and we Love others as Jesus loves through us, out to each other.

When we yield to that our lives reflect the Cross! And the power of the resurrection flows freely through us to others!

If the worlds situation and the crazy decisions we see being made are burdening you down with care, get back to the cross and you will find your way home to Trust in the one who Loves you and is able to give you Peace and Joy!

Run to the Cross! Point others to the Cross! The Cross is empty but points us to a risen Savior who is victorious and will hug us back home!

I ask you to touch each person who reads this to receive this precious gift of everlasting life you offer! Let us always remember the price paid on the Cross and the Power it brings! “The enemy we see today, we will see no more!”

Today I want to share some truths with you that I believe we are shown in the story of the Israelites crossing the red sea.

God had delivered them from Egypt with a mighty hand and according to most Bible scholars, the number of men, women, and children were between 4 and 6 million.

That many people are hard to picture crossing the wilderness toward the red sea and relying on Moses to lead them as God directed.

After they left, Pharoah changed his mind and pursued them with his army.

When we are free from something and are going to a better place in life the enemy will pursue you with that habit, failure, hurt, offense, or whatever you have been delivered from! We call it temptation!

We must keep going forward to the calling of Christ Jesus to be like Him!

When the Israelites came to the red sea, they found the sea before them and the Egyptian army behind them and they were afraid.

The enemy wants to use fear to defeat us! Fear is the enemy of Faith!

They saw no way out! Maybe there is something in your life today that you see no way out of, but GOD WILL MAKE A WAY! Just obey!

So, much like us, the people began to complain about and to their leader Moses and accused him of bringing them out to die in the wilderness and they would have been better to stay in Egypt!

Please never fall for the lie from satan that it was better back in the bondage of the enemy! The enemy wants you to look back and when you look back you tend to go back.

God had a plan then and God has a plan for your life and your continued deliverance!

Whatever enemy you are free from but find it is pursuing you is defeated as you obey and go forward as God leads!

Exodus 14:13-14 (KJV)
¹³ And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, YE SHALL SEE THEM AGAIN NO MORE FOR EVER.
¹⁴ The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

The Lord wants to fight your battle of deliverance as you rest in Him and the power of His might!

God was not saying, do not do anything, but He was saying just obey and let me do the deliverance. You see deliverance is not up to us except to obey and go forward toward all God has placed in us!

²¹ And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
²² And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
²³ And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

²⁷ And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
²⁸ And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

The people did not fight, they obeyed, went forward into the sea and that enemy was destroyed, not one left!

May I tell you the enemy that is pursuing you is destroyed as you obey! Other enemies will rise as you walk through life just as they did against the Israelites but with Faith in God through Jesus Christ, we can walk in Victory over every one of them!

But the habit, hurt, confusion, pull back in the world’s way, or whatever is pursuing you today you will see no more, as you obey and go forward!

/////Father, in Jesus’ name I come! Thank you for your Love that is amazing and thank you that your desire to fight for us is true and real! May we just rest in you, pray, and obey and let you give us strength and direction in every situation! Struggle and fear come from the enemy. Rest and peace and deliverance come from you Father, through the sacrifice of Jesus! We rest in you in the walk through our busy days! Amen!

Rest in the Lord and the Power of His might!
